LOCATION: LECTURE HALL OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: NINE ZERO SIX - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If there was one thing that Brody hated right at this moment it was the fact that it was a beautiful day outside and he was stuck in a damn lecture hall. It was a Monday, too and he hated Monday's more than anything. In his mind they were the absolute worst day of the week, hands down and without a question. Today was particularly bad though because he was sporting a hangover along with the usual Monday shabbiness. It was nowhere near as bad as it could be though so that was good. He hadn't drank too much last night but it was enough to give him a slight hangover, nothing that couldn't be easily cured. As he sat in the back of the class, his pen doodling across the paper that he probably should have been taking notes on. The information was nothing he didn't know already so was there really a point to it? At least as soon as he got out of here he was done for the day, only one lecture and no other classes, that had to be one of the only good things about Monday's. Instead of paying attention to everything that was going on around him Brody let his thoughts wander to this past weekend and everything that had went on. It had been very eventful that was for sure and this time it wasn't just issues that he had at work, no, it actually involved a lot of fun but also a lot of issues with his younger sister. He thought it was pretty safe to assume that she hated him at the moment but he had only been looking out for her. Not that she would see it that way though, no, instead she saw it as him trying to ruin her life.
Then there had been the whole thing that went on with him and Lucy. They had been really good friends for awhile one, she was always someone he could go and talk to about anything and he trusted her. He hoped that she felt the same way toward him and he hoped that she didn't find what had happened between them awkward in the least bit. In all honesty when he had arrived at her dorm on Friday evening, er, very early Saturday morning, it had been to do nothing more than to check to see if she was alright. Something seemed off and Brody wanted to be there for her so he had left his dorm without even grabbing a shirt and ran across campus to her dorm. Sure it was cold out but he hadn't really thought about getting sick or anything like that because his mind was focused on her. Somehow that friendly meeting had went to them sleeping with each other, multiple times and in all honesty it was probably one of the best experiences of his life even though it had been something he never expected from her. Not that he minded it though, Brody loved a good surprise as much as the next guy it was just that Lucy was the last one he would have expected that sort of behavior from. Brody wasn't a whore in the least bit but he had slept with a couple of girls before her. Some of them were in it only to please themselves and then were done but with Lucy it was different, she had wanted him to have a pleasurable experience as well and he had. It was definitely going down in the books as a higher ranking night that much was for sure.
The minute Brody heard the Professors voice change from that monotone he had been using the entire lecture and then stated that they were dismissed Brody practically jumped to his feet and shoved everything into his backpack. He wanted to get out of here as soon as possible and it was obvious by the way he quickly headed for the exit. Luckily he was able to duck out of the hall before being spotted by the Professor and a smirk crossed his face as he moved quickly through the hallway, his gaze on his phone that was now in his hand as he texted one of his friends. What he wasn't expecting was to collide with someone and he let out a groan as his phone fell from his hand as well. A 'sorry' was muttered from his lips as he bent down to pick up his phone and then moved to help whomever he had bumped into pick up their books. He let his green eyes lift from the floor as he handed the books to the female whom was crouched beside him and he couldn't help but smirk slightly when he realized who it was. "Hey pretty girl.
" He said as he stood up then held out his hand to help her up. " You okay?" Brody's words were spoken kind of gruffly as he shoved his phone in his pocket before moving closer to Lucy and placing his hand on her waist and walked down the hall with her. Well, it looked like he figured out what to do for the rest of the day, as long as she wasn't busy that was. If she was then Brody would probably go and bother Abby or just go nap, if not he would have a good time hanging out with an amazing friend of his. [/blockquote]

so stop your wonderingTAKE A CHANCE. THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN JUST TO LIVE.BRODY O'CONNOR , 746 WORDS , CLOTHING , COMPLETE
the brunette had finally grown weary of moping. That's what she had been doing all day. She was sick of tired of thinking about nothing but Kaden and his ex-girlfriend, Adia. Her mind went back to the fight they'd had the night before and Lucy couldn't help but feel somewhat stupid, but highly insulted. All her points had been valid. There was something between the two, whether Kaden wanted to admit it or not. He obviously preferred Adia to her company. He had showed that twice. She had attempted to speak to him, he would reply and immediately turn his attention back to Adia. It was hurtful as he was meant to be her best friend. He told her frequently that she was the most important person in his life, yet he ignored her for that girl. Lucy was hurt deeply over it, to an extent that she would leave wherever they were and wonder what it was she did to make him not want to be around her any more. It was even worse because Lucy was completely head over heels for her best friend and he completely ignored it. Okay, so Lucy had her reasons for not telling him. It had a lot to do with the hideous act he had committed. She had still had trouble dealing with the fact that he had raped a girl. Lucy knew all too well the devastating effects it had on a person. Hell, Lucy was the result of a rape. Sometimes, she swore she could see her mother have flashbacks every time she looked at her.
finally, she decided to go do something constructive. She was done with sitting around in her dorm room thinking about Kaden. She needed a distraction. She needed to see a friendly face. She looked at the time. Most people would be in class right now. Lucy had arranged her time table so that she had Mondays off. Despite that, she decided it would be time to go see one her professor's. She knew that they were lecturing freshmans soon, so she decided that maybe she should attempt to make it before then. She was already dressed, had already showered, so she just grabbed her book bag and wondered off to the lecture halls so that she could see her professor. She arrived about ten minutes before the lecture arrived, so she was able to ask the questions she needed. The conversation was brief and it ended with Lucy borrowing another book that was certain to help her. Thanking the professor, Lucy vacated the room. She stood outside flicking throw the book, wondering if it would come in hand on her term paper. Lucy was nearly finished with it, but perhaps this would help her earn an even better grade. She walked off, her eyes on the book, unaware of an approaching body until she made contact with it. Her book fell to the ground and she heard the clatter of a dropped cell phone. She immediately bent to pick up the things muttered a "Sorry."
she had still not looked at the person who she had bumped into. Lucy recognised him by the nickname, not his appearance. 'Pretty girl' meant that she had bumped into Brody. this was perfect. She looked up at him with a smile on her face and finally stood, accepting his hand, and handed him a few of his things. "Hey you." When he questioned her well-being she waved away his concern with a smile. She thought nothing of his hand on her waist. It was just so they would stay together. That was it. "I'm fine. I'm lucky you didn't do more damage, you beast." She poked his rock hard stomach and winked at him. She was wondering what Brody was doing. He was exactly what she needed now. He made her laugh and he would be able to keep her company and keep her mind off of Kaden and Adia. She needed that more than anything right now. "What are you doing?" She was really hoping he wouldn't be a smart ass and saying something stupid like 'walking with you' or 'I just finished class'. Lucy was not an idiot and she could see these things. She had meant what was he going to do now. Where was he heading? What were his plans for the day? Lucy really hoped he had no prior engagements. As much as she hated to admit it, she was lonely.

yeah, i want it but i don't need it, tell me SOMETHING SWEET TO GET ME THROUGH THE DAY- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAG: LUCY MONROE . LOCATION: LECTURE HALL OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: SEVEN FIFTY THREE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Despite his age this young man knew nothing about love and next to nothing about relationships. He had a relationship back in high school but it had ended only a few months into his Freshman year here at Yale, the girl he had been dating couldn't do the long distance thing and the two had broken things off. Lucy had been there for that but instead of being broken up about it Brody had decided it was just something that happened in his life and he easily got over it. He never took things too seriously, especially not a high school relationship that he knew would end soon after graduation. Yes the two had been together for nearly a year but love had never been something that had crossed his mind and from what he knew it had never crossed hers. Brody had always been sort of a loner, he never really had someone he could call a best friend apart from his sister and he only had a few friends here at Yale and in the town. Not that he minded though, Brody was nice and content with his life, he really was. It was drama free, it was hurt free and for the most part it was pain free apart from the blows he received at the strip club where he worked as a bouncer.
It wasn't that Brody was anti-social by any means, in fact he was a pretty friendly guy but he intimidated a lot of people and he had that mysterious aura about him that made most people step back and ignore him. Brody had learned to deal with it and so to and from classes or lectures alone had become quite common for him. The quiet and lack of distraction was good for him though, it always made sure that he was in a decent frame of mind and wasn't focused too strongly on something he shouldn't be focused on. Today, as he walked through the halls all he was focused on was the phone in his hand and the text message he was writing up. One of his buddies from back home had been telling him a story that Brody found rather amusing and it had distracted him from paying attention to where he was walking. That was why he collided with someone and dropped his phone to the ground. He only hoped that it wasn't ruined. Brody had paid an arm and a leg for that phone and didn't fancy the thought of raking up more money to fix it or get a new one. When he had bent down and picked it up though it wasn't damaged in the least bit, thank god. That would have really sucked but since it was fine he pushed those thoughts from his mind. They were completely unimportant and irrelevant, no point in filling his mind up with useless thoughts like that, right?
Once he was to his feet and realized who he had bumped into the situation was no longer as awkward as he thought it was going to turn out. Thank god he had only run into Lucy. Well, actually, it was more of a thank god he didn't seriously damage her. She was half his size and if he had run into her with more force she probably would have broke. "Very true.
" He responded with a laugh as she poked his stomach and he swatted at her hand playfully. " If you want some more damage I could always sit on you. That'll probably squash you quite a bit." He spoke with a light tone of voice full of laughter and smiles as his hand rested on her waist and the two walked through the crowded hallways. Physical contact was nothing new to them they had done a lot more than this on numerous occasions so he knew she wouldn't have thought much of it. " I'm walking with you right now through the hallways to get out of this godforsaken lecture hall." Of course Brody had to respond to her sarcastically, he couldn't help himself but he knew that she wouldn't appreciate that much so after a few moments he spoke up again. " I was actually on my way to come and see if you wanted to hang out. I don't have classes for the rest of the day and I'd figure you would love to hang out with your favorite person." Cue another lighthearted laugh escaping from his plump lips followed by a rather charming smile.[/blockquote]
