The day was here, the day that Christian thought it would never happen. He never thought that he would go back to being in a relationship or start liking someone or crushing or worse, fall in love. He thought this was one awkward dream because he was standing in front of Savannah's dorm while holding some white roses and actually feeling really nervous about this. He's normally never like this because he never had the chance to go on a date because of Joseph. He's been focusing too much on Joe that he never had the chance to go on dates or anything, especially because he didn't had a babysitter to watch him. Surprisingly, he was surprised that his parents wanted to babysit while Christian was going on a date. He was having second thoughts and was thinking what if this was a mistake or what if this was something that he wasn't ready for, but it was too late to turn back now.
Christian had arrived to Savannah's dorm and was standing in front of the door, nervous to knock. He folded his hand to a fist and started knocking on the door twice. He was so nervous for tonight because he was having a lot of second thoughts. He was waiting for Savannah to open the door and let out a small sigh before he notice the doorknob turning and the door open. He look around and notice Savannah standing right there in front of him and she looked amazing as ever. Wow, you look amazing tonight. He said with a smile as those were the only words that came out from his mouth, but those words that he said was true. He just couldn't believe how she looked tonight. He looked at the roses that he was holding and said, Um, these are for you. I would like to give myself the credit, but Joseph mostly picked them out. I was gonna bring some red roses, but he said that you wouldn't like them. He added, giving her the red roses and shrug his shoulders with a small laugh that escaped from his lips. Christian was surprised that Joseph is more romantic than him. It's probably genetic or something because he has no idea where he gets it from. Chris could be romantic, but he doesn't know. He had a smile on his face and said, So, are you ready for our date tonight, Savannah? He didn't know what else to say besides just say that she looked beautiful tonight. He walked up closer toward her and stand next to her, took his hand out for her to hold, and walk over to where his car was parked at. He just couldn't believe what was happening. He has been friends with Savannah for many years and now, they are going out on a date as a couple, not as friends. After they walked out of her dorm, he closed the door and started walking toward his car. He open the passenger's door as a gentlemen and waited for Sav. Once she got inside the car, he closed the door and walked over to the driver's side and open the door. He got inside, closed the door, and started the engine and heading their way to the restaurant.
The drive was at least twenty five minutes. He parked the car at the parking lot and turn off the engine. He got off the car and began to walk over to where Sav was and open the door for her, reaching his hand out toward her as he was helping her out of the car. Once she was out, he closed the door and they both started walking over to the restaurant together, entering inside and he was looking for the table that he reserved for. Ready to eat? he asked, looking over to Sav and gave her a smile. He escorted her to their table. TAGGED: Savannah Kimball COMMENTS: sorry for my sucky lame post. xD OUTFIT: click here

*/ baby, you belong with me( tagging: christian crawford location: restaurant appearance: outfit ) If there was one word to describe how Savannah felt right now it would be nervous. She was really worried about the date tonight and especially since it was with Christian. She had never really thought about them being anything more than friends for the fact they had always had a brother/sister relationship with one another but they were more than friends now. She had spent the morning and afternoon at home with her parents and her older brother who was home from university. They had planned a little lunch trip for the family since it was awhile since they’d been together properly as a family. Savannah had been somewhat excited about it but her nerves for the night ahead were making it harder for her to focus on her outing. Kristopher had tried to get her attention many times and then finally guessed she was focused on a guy which was so true. They then walked and talked about it and she managed to calm down a little with her brother’s advice which was shocking. Savannah had never been able to confidently be in a relationship with a guy because she felt that if they found out she’d had a heart operation and had a scar for life they’d be put off by her or something. Her brother knew this exactly. But with Christian, Savannah didn’t feel like she had anything to worry about.
Having arrived back at her dorm at around six, she had literally one hour to get ready. It was definitely time for her to panic. She started to rush around finding something to wear and when it came down to her hair and make-up, she had no idea what to do. She had no time to straighten her hair but she thought it might make her a bit more presentable. In the end she decided to leave her hair natural and work on her outfit more than anything. She didn’t need to make a huge effort because she wasn’t that sort of a person. She didn’t even wear a lot of make-up as her friends and family always told her she had natural beauty and didn’t need make-up. The knock on her door startled her and she quickly fumbled around before she answered it. There was Christian, looking pretty darn smart. At his compliment, she smiled her usual bright smile, ”You do look pretty good yourself.”
She responded quietly, feeling slightly anxious again. She loved how he mixed and matched with his clothing choice. Savannah usually sported hoodies and such because she was a bit of a tomboy but tonight she was a bit more dressed up. She had decided it was a special occasion after all. ”Oh wow, they’re so beautiful. Joe’s very clever for deciding that. I love them.” Savannah took the roses from him and held them for a few moments before she disappeared into her dorm and placed them neatly into a vase. She returned to the door seconds later and she nodded when he asked her if she was ready. ”As ready as I’ll ever be.” She said with a smile, taking his hand in hers as they walked over to his car. She felt a little more calmed by now but she was still nervous. Things like this were weird at first and Savannah hadn’t had a date in quite awhile. She tried to focus on the night ahead in a good way for the fact she was sure it would be fine. The car journey was somewhat quiet but they did talk about this and that. When they arrived, she smiled at Christian and took his hand; this time more comfortably than before. ”Mm I’m starving.” She grinned at him and took a seat at the table in which he had reserved for them. Savannah picked up the menu once she was sat and started to look at it. ”You’ve brought the most indecisive person out for dinner y’know.” She laughed, scanning her eyes over the menu once again.[/blockquote] ( notes: my muse is low because i'm ill =\ )

christian had always thought about his friendship with savannah and always thought it would be more like brother/sister relationship instead a different relationship. after the last one he had, he knew that he would never fall for someone again, but when he saw savannah and joseph hanging out really well. also the fact that he actually likes her and approves of her, christian felt something was there between him and her, but was probably something that he wasn't thinking straight or something. savannah and christian have known each other for a very long, many years since they've been friends, and he always thought he would see her as a sister since he's older than her by at least two years or so, but he never thought something like this would happen between them.
Standing in front of her door, he was already nervous and was already having second thoughts about this. would if something bad goes wrong during their date or maybe the feelings are a bit confusing or something else. he didn't want to think of that right now as he push those thoughts aside and just think about how to make this date romantic, even though he never thought he would be. his type of dates would be of course, dinner because he hates taking a girl out without having nothing in her stomach. then, maybe a nice little scroll around the beach and watching the sunset together and from there sharing a kiss before taking her home and giving her a goodnight kiss. that's how classic and casual christian could be. he walked inside her dorm after she open the door and got the flowers that her favorite boys picked out. he was just a few feet away from the door. really, i do? be honest, sav. he asked with a smile, not knowing if he looked good or not. he's the type of guy who likes to mixed his clothes because that's how he rolls.
he just gave her a smile and said, well, you know how much you means to him, and to me. he was glad that she loved the flowers and was proud of having a kid like joseph because he's more good with the girls than his dad and was surprised about that. darn those genetics? he heard that she was ready as ever which made him laugh quietly while holding her hand and walking to his car. he was hoping that this night was gonna be fine because what could go wrong, right? Once they arrived, he noticed a smile on her face after she got out of the car while taking his hand. good because we're not leaving until you're all stuffed. he teased with a smile that appeared on his face as he was sitting across from her. he got the menu and read as he was thinking what to order and then he heard savannah saying something. he heard her laugh which made him laugh because her laugh that she had was probably the cutest laugh he had ever seen. the fact that she laughs like a five year old, which was good because that's one of the things that he likes about her. really? well, i guess i'm lucky tonight to have you here. he added. did i ever told you that you laugh like a five year old ever since the moment i first made you laugh? he continued with a small laugh, closing the menu as he was ready to order. he was just waiting for the waiter to come so they can start ordering.

*/ baby, you belong with me( tagging: christian crawford location: restaurant appearance: outfit ) ”Mhm I think you look very handsome tonight, Chris.”
She told him with a genuine smile as they stood in her doorway face to face waiting to leave for their meal. Savannah liked how Christian could mix and match with his clothes and still look pretty good. She found that she had a humble opinion of herself for a most part. She wasn’t like other girls who constantly complained that they were fat or ugly – she actually liked how she looked and appreciated that she had this opinion of herself. Savannah was wearing her favourite dress which just about covered up the scar on her chest from her operation and on top of that she wore her party cardigan, some silver heels and some of her favourite bracelets which she had located just before he had turned up at her door. If anything, seeing Savannah in a dress was quite surprising from what she usually wore around college and when she was hanging around with friends. She was a tomboy and a lot of people knew what. ”Joe is so cute. I could just steal him.” She joked, grinning a little at her now boyfriend. That was something that felt so weird to say or even think. Savannah smiled, ”He’s lucky to have you as a dad, you know that?” She said quietly, pressing a kiss to his cheek in a spontaneous way. She wanted him to know that she cared and that she truly meant what she said when she told him things. She loved both him and Joe and she didn’t really understand why his mother could just give a little boy up like that and she felt that Christian did a good job stepping up to the responsibility. Savannah settled down once she was a little more comfortable about the date and the night ahead. She knew everything would turn out fine but she couldn’t help but worry a little. At his words, she giggled and shook her head, ”Well then, it looks like we could be here for awhile. I haven’t eaten since lunch.” She told him, a hint of amusement in the tone of her voice. Savannah scanned the menu several times and she still hadn’t decided what to have. She thought it would be best to start with drinks though when the waiter arrived. She would be going non-alcoholic though for the fact she rarely drank the stuff and she was technically underage. ”I’m glad you asked me out. I think I’ve realised that I like you more than I originally thought.” She admitted honestly, feeling a little shy about what she had just said and she gave an awkward laugh. It was only when he commented on her laugh that she stopped and stared at him and wasn’t sure what to say. ”Oh.. uhm, is that a good thing? Nobody’s ever commented on my laugh before.” She arched an eyebrow and hoped that it was a compliment rather than a negative thing. She didn’t think it would help the date if he was nasty to her. Savannah removed her eyes from looking at Christian and she looked at the menu once more. She was struggling for what to have for a meal and she didn’t really want to keep anyone waiting especially since the waiter would be over soon to take their order. ”So, have you decided what you’re having? I’m stuck for choice.” She shrugged and rested her eyes on Christian’s. There was something about him that made her happy both inside and out but she couldn’t quite figure out what it was.[/blockquote] ( notes: =[ this sucked. )

Christian suddenly had a smile on his face after hearing her comment about how he looked tonight. He's the type of guy who would like to mixed his clothes and doesn't care what people would think or judge him. Why thank you. You look very beautiful tonight. He said, commenting on how she looked tonight. He knows that she's a tomboy who usually wears hoodies and jeans, but tonight she was dress up for a regular date and that's all he cared about is seeing her dress up comfortably. Besides, He looked pretty good. He laughed when he heard what she was joking about. You can't steal him. You say that you're not mean. He joked, grinning back to his new girlfriend. He knows how Savannah and Joe's relationship is and he couldn't ask for anything better.
Christian looked at her and he was surprised to hear something that nice about how lucky Joe is to have him as a dad. Suddenly that same grin reappeared on his face after he felt Savi pressing a kiss on his cheek. You really think so? I mean, I thought I was just doing my job of making his life better than mine. He added, shrugging his shoulders and remembering how his childhood was. Come on, he usually does nothing, but does to parties and get drunk and also, the fact that he got a girl pregnant. All he wants is to have Joe's life better than his and be a better father than his own. He knows that Savannah really cared about Joe and really loved him and that's all he wanted from her. Besides, Joe had never had anyone like her in his life. He doesn't know what happened to his mom or why she's not here with him. Chris doesn't like to talk about it nor even mention it to him because he's afraid that his son will hate him for not telling the truth. That's good then because we got all night. he smiled, after hearing that she haven't eaten since lunch.
I'm glad I did. You're in luck because I feel the same way about you also. He meant those words. He nod his head after hearing her response to the comment he made about her laugh. Yeah, it's a good thing. You have one cute laugh and that's one of the things why I'm attracted to you. He added, commenting about her laugh. He liked her laugh because it reminds him of when they first met and the moment he made her laugh which still sounds similar. Also, that's one of the personality that he likes about her. There's also the way she smiles, her blue eyes which is a good thing because he's a sucker for blue eyes, the way that she can be like yourself whenever she's around him and the fact that she accepts him having a child. Um, I think so. I'm thinking of having egg rolls and orange chicken. He called, before he rested his eyes on Savannah's with a smile. He placed his hand out on top of the table and reach for hers to hold. They were waiting for a waiter or someone to come and take their orders.
