The day was on a Thursday, just two more days until the weekend and Christian is bored already. He was at his parent's house with his three year old son because his parents wanted to spend time with Joseph, so he couldn't refuse an invitation from his parents. So, they both went to his parent's house. Chris wanted to go out for the rest of the day and have a day off from taking care of Joseph since he had a long and tired day today. He has a big headache because of Joseph's crying. He didn't get enough sleep and all he want is go to sleep, so that's what Chris did. While his parents were taking care of Joseph, Chris took a nap on the couch because he was too lazy to walk up the stairs and go to his old room. He went to sleep for at least two and a half hours. He got up from the couch and walked over to the kitchen while rubbing both of his eyes.
He was glad that he got his sleepiness out of the way. His parents noticed that his son needed a day off from Joseph, so they told Chris to go out today while they babysit Joseph. Chris didn't want his parents taking care of him while he goes out, but they want to and this would be a great time for them to spend time with their grandson. So, Joe walk up the stairs and walked to his old room. He look around and noticed that everything was still the same since the last time he had it, before he moved to an apartment with Joe about a few months ago. He look through his closet and look to see what to wear for today. He pull out this outfit and placed it on top of his bed before getting the towel and heading to the bathroom for a nice, warm, ten minute shower since he smell like sweat.
Christian got out of the shower and wrap the towel around his waist before he got out of the bathroom. He got his clothes and started changing. After that, he got the towel and dried his wet black hair. He fixed his hair and decided on the style to have his hair into a half Mohawk. He got his pair of sunglasses that was hanging on the mirror, got his car keys that he left on top of the desk before he took a shower, and left the room. He walk down the stairs and walked to the living room to where his parents and Joseph was at. He sat down on the couch and noticed that his mother gave Joseph to his father. Chris got him and gave his son a smile while he was sitting down on his lap. He gave him a kiss on top of his head and said, Daddy's gonna be back. You gonna be okay with grandma and grandpa, Joe? He asked his son. All Joseph did was to shake his head as a yes with a smile on his face.
Joe had lost his voice since the moment he was born and Christian has been trying to teach him how to talk, but he couldn't. All right, then. I'll be back in a while and I'll bring you something, okay? Go with grandma. He added, picking up Joe and giving him to his grandma. He got up from the couch and was wondering if Joe will be okay since this is the first time he left him, but he's gonna be with his parents and Chris can trust them. So, he walked out of the house and walked over to his car while unlocking his car with the control remote key. He got inside the driver's seat. put on his seat belt, started the engine, and go out of the driveway. He decided to go to the mall and maybe walk around while thinking of what to buy for Joe.
The drive from his parent's house to the mall was about thirty minutes with no traffic. Christian parked the car in the parking lot and put on the alarm, locking it after he got out of the car. He walked inside the mall and was thinking what to do first. So, first he wanted to get some new sunglasses because he was getting tired of the old glasses. He walked over to the building where they sell glasses and was trying on some sunglasses. He tried on many kinds and many sizes when he noticed someone walking by. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, she was about 5"7, and the way she dress up reminds him of someone that he knew. He couldn't believe who it was and he wanted to know if it was the person that he thought she was. He took off the sunglasses that he was wearing and place it on top of the counter before he walked out of the building and walking over to where the girl was. As he got closer toward her, the more he could tell as he couldn't believe his eyes who it was. Excuse me, I seem to be lost here. Can you help me? He asked the girl with a smile, seeing if she would turn around and give him an answer while looking at him.

*/ how we lost all that we are( tagging: christian crawford location: the mall appearance: outfit ) Was it even possible for someone to be nineteen years of age and not have anything to do? It was Thursday and today Indiana had the day off college. It was the only day in the week she had off and though she’d much rather it was a Friday, she couldn’t complain about it. She was lucky to have a day off at all. For most of the morning, she laid in bed watching the sun seep through the crack in the curtains and when she finally did get out of bed, she wandered over to the window only in her underwear and stared at the snow covered ground. It glistened like gems and it was so very beautiful; almost so beautiful that it would be such a shame to ruin it. She opened the window, letting the cold air leak through into her dorm and she wandered off into the bathroom to grab a quick shower. It felt so good to not have a roommate right now but she knew she’d end up with one eventually. Indiana stuck the shower on and turned up the warmth of it to one of the higher numbers and she waited patiently while it warmed up. Once it had done so, she stepped out of her underwear, unhooking her bra within seconds and throwing it aside along with her matching knickers. She moved into the shower accordingly and let the warm water flow over her body and her long blonde hair which definitely needed washing. Indiana used her usual mint shampoo and conditioner and of course, her awesome body wash which smelt like strawberries. She felt as clean as washing machine when she was done.
Stepping out of the shower, she wrapped a towel around her skinny frame and she headed back into her room which was now freezing cold due to the fact she’d left her window open the whole time. She shivered a little and found goosebumps break out on her skin as she closed the window and stuck the heating up a little. She dried herself off quickly and carefully while she tried to figure out what to wear. She finally decided on what to wear and it only took a few minutes thankfully. Indiana shoved new underwear on and stuck the clothes over the top. She needed to work out exactly what she was doing next also. The mall seemed like a good idea. She got herself ready and just as she was about to leave, her phone rang. It was just typical that her parents had chosen to check up on her now. Indiana answered it and a conversation developed between her and her mother which seemed to go on for hours. She was telling her all about where they were currently located and it made her jealous that she couldn’t be with her parents travelling. ”Muuuum, I wanna go shopping. I’ll call you later, kay? Love you.”
It was that final statement and a reply from her mother that ended the phone call and Indiana shoved her phone in her pocket before leaving her dorm to head into town to the mall. It didn’t take her as long as she expected and she soon found herself confronted with a ton of shops. She’d managed to get paid for doing a gig recently and also some money from her parents and so it was definitely time for a small shopping trip. Maybe she’d get something pierced? Indiana wandered around for awhile and found herself getting bored of being alone. Everyone was in class which sucked. She headed over to the nearest store that sold slushies and she decided to splash out and buy a large one with a mixture of flavours. She drank the slushie while wandering around for a bit and when she finally got overly bored, she stopped and watched some music thing going on in the middle of the mall. She watched it constantly and found herself still getting quite bored. Oh why was nobody interesting around? A familiar voice caught her attention though and she smirked a little before turning around to find herself face to face with her ex boyfriend. ”Do I really look like someone who can give directions, Chris?” She responded with a grin and she moved over to him. It was weird to see him but kind of good at the same time. Indiana hesitated but quickly wrapped her arms around him in a friendly hug. There was nothing wrong with a hug and since they were on good terms, it was even better. ”It’s.. good to see you. Been up to anything drastic lately?” She asked, pulling back from the hug to give him a little space. Indiana had somewhat missed him and just cuddling him. But she’d never admit that. She just didn’t do well with relationships and it was clear thatw as true otherwise she would probably still be with Christian.[/blockquote] ( notes: here we goooo )

Christian knew that if he asked for directions, the person would turn around and look at him which got his attention. He looked at the girl and gave her a smile as he was glad to see her at a place like the shopping mall like this. It's a good thing that he knew she looked familiar because of the color of her hair, how tall she is, and most important they way she dressed which made him think of someone that he knew. It was Indiana Vegas Shaw, his ex girlfriend he dated a few years back. She still looked the same since the last time he first saw her like the smile, her appearance, her eyes, her height, pretty much everything was still the same like before and he couldn't believe how good she looked today.
Christian looked at Indiana and heard something that she said to him which caused him to laugh. She was still the same old Indiana Shaw he knew before. Nope, but I had to say something to make you turn around, you do I? Besides, you were bad at giving directions like remember last time? When someone asked you for directions which caused them to be late for their party. Christian teased with a teaser smile as he remember that moment because it was pretty funny that he couldn't stop picturing the image. He looked at her and noticed that she started to move closer toward him since they were a few feet away from each other. It was awkward to see her, but at the same time he was glad to see her because he sure did missed her so much.
Chris then felt Indiana wrapping his arms around him as a friendly hug and he return the favor back by giving her the hug back. It was a bit awkward giving her a hug because it would give him memories. He heard Indiana saying something to him again after she pulled away from the awkwardly hug. He looked at her and said, Yeah, it's really good to see you too, Indiana. I.. missed you. He didn't know why he said that, but it was true though. He did missed her, he missed her so much and he would be thinking about her all the time. Even though, he really wasn't good in keeping relationships because they all end up either bad or good. Um, well, I've just been doing the same old stuff, you know. He said, shrugging his shoulders with a wide little grin that appeared on his face. He wasn't too sure whether to tell her that he has a kid that his mother dropped the kid to Christian. What about you, Indiana? What have you been up to drastic lately? He asked the same question back.
Oh, well the truth is that I just made my life a living hell and I did something that I regret for the rest of my life possibly forever. I got a girl pregnant when I was seventeen and she gave me the kid to me while she ran away with some guy. He added, shrugging his shoulders once again, knowing that Indiana will never talk to him ever again. He knows that Indiana and kids doesn't go together really well. All he wanted was to just see her once again and say hi. So, um, that was basically my reason why I wanted us to break up which I felt guilty about, trust me. He added, with a soft tone and looking down at the ground because he didn't want to see the way she was gonna react.

*/ how we lost all that we are( tagging: christian crawford location: the mall appearance: outfit ) Indiana wasn’t all that amazing with directions. She never really had the patience to tell anyone them so she just made out half the time that she had never heard of the place said person was looking for. She didn’t even do well with reading maps but that wasn’t the point. The point was, she had no time to stand and explain where a place was when they could quite easily go and ask someone more intelligent than herself. She almost had the heart to turn around and tell them to go away but since she recognised the voice, she opted against it. Seeing her ex boyfriend was a bit of a shock to the system. With the fact that he was out of school and everything, she never really saw him much after the breakup and seeing him now was kind of weird and it took her several minutes to register the fact it was actually him. Indiana barely looked half-decent and she was stood in front of someone who had once dated her. Oh what the world probably thought. If it wasn’t for the fact she was very different from other girls her age, she would probably feel more insecure than usual.
”So you decide to ask for directions. Ah, you haven’t changed much have you?”
She grinned at him and moved her hair out of her eyes before she found herself wanting to comment on what he had just said even more. ”He wouldn’t let me come along to the party so why should I have given him directions? I wanted to see if he’d play along but he clearly didn’t.” She told him in a matter-of-factly tone which seemed to work wonders most of the time. It was so strange being back in the company of her ex boyfriend again. But at the same time, it was sort of nice as well. Deep down she still had feelings for him but she knew that it was best to move on and she half-expected him to have another girlfriend or something. When she hugged him, she felt a few memories brought back to her mind – both good at bad. There had been times where they’d fought and then ended up hugging afterwards and there had been times where she would see him and hug him for no apparent reason. She couldn’t help but pull away soon after and she just looked at him, a small smile toying with the corner of her lips as she studied him for a second. He definitely hadn’t changed a ton. Indiana wasn’t sure what to do right now. She could always make up some excuse not to be around him but she wanted to talk to him and perhaps hang out with him if he wasn’t busy. It was just something she wanted to do to ease the awkwardness that was filling the space between them. At his words, she found herself chewing her bottom lip a little, ”You.. missed me? I didn’t think you did. But I guess I missed you too.” She shrugged her shoulders. She had actually missed him a lot. More the hanging out with him and such but in a way, she missed more than that too. She laughed a little, one of her usual laughs that her friends always managed to get out of her. ”We must sound like two boring old farts. I’ve done fuck all apart from suffer day by day at college.” Indiana smirked a little but her smirk faded when she heard him speak once again and this time it was something that actually threw her off guard. She blinked slowly at him and fiddled awkwardly with the bottom of her shirt. ”Wow.. That certainly is drastic, Chris. A kid.. wow.” She honestly wasn’t sure how to react. Indiana had never really handled kids that well even if she did think they were cute and everything. ”Did you want to end it because you knew I didn’t do well with kids or honestly because you had a kid?” It only took her a moment to realise what was actually going on, ”Fucking hell, Chris. You cheated on me?”[/blockquote] ( notes: so weirdly cute xD )

Christian is not a fan of telling people directions. Well, mostly because he doesn't know actually. If you come up to him and ask for some directions, he would look around the area and point at the map instead of having him telling them. He normally hates that people would ask for directions for something that would be obvious to find and that was one of the things that he hates in a person. He asked for directions because he knew that she would turn around and said something negative to him because that's just how she is, but at the same time that's what he liked about her. She would be open minded and just say whatever she's thinking and doesn't care if she hurt that person.
Chris shrugged his shoulders with a smile, maybe he didn't changed after all, but come on he had to do something to get her attention and that was the only thing that popped inside his head. Yeah, I guess I did. What, you got a problem with that? I guess I didn't and I could say the same thing about you. He said, with a smile while folding both of his arms and placing them against his chest while tilting his head and looking at her. She diffidently didn't changed at all. She looked the same old Indiana Shaw that he knew for a very lone time. He heard Indiana saying something to him about what happened that day someone asked for directions and he laughed. Yeah. He probably thought that you were too small to go because you were kinda short before. Besides, you really didn't made it cleared enough for him, maybe that's why he didn't play along. He joked, laughing a bit.
He always knew that there is something about Indiana that made him feel different than when he's with somebody else because deep down he still has those same feelings that he had before. He needed to push them away and clear her out of his mind, but somehow those feelings seem to come back because he would see her every time he would turn around. After telling her that he missed her, he could tell that she was gonna blush or something, but she's not the type of person who likes to show it. Instead of having her cheeks turning red as roses, she was biting her lower lip. What? Of course I missed you. I couldn't stop thinking about you, Indiana. You know how much you meant to me. He told the honest truth because that's what he felt right now. After hearing that she missed him too, he raised both of his hands and placed them on top of where his heart was and said, Aww, you missed me too?
Christian then heard something coming from Indiana and he wasn't sure what he heard, but it sounded like a laugh. Wait. Did I just heard you laugh? Wow, I haven't heard that in a while. He said with a smile. He was surprised to hear Indiana laugh because he haven't heard her laugh like that in a very long time. He nod his head with a wide little smile to what she said about what she's been doing with her life. His smile went away when he saw the way she react about him having a kid. He just nod his head and said, Yeah, a kid. His name is Joseph and he's three years old. His mother left him to me and I didn't even knew that he existed. Right now, he's with my parents because my mom was bugging that she wanted to see him. So, yeah. He said, shrugging his shoulders. He heard Indiana asking him a question which was giving him seconds thoughts about it. I want it to end it because I knew that I wasn't the right guy for you. I knew that you deserve someone better than me. That's why. He answered her question. Come on, we were fighting contently everyday about one stupid little thing, Indiana. I always thought you were better off with someone better. Besides. the way you were all over that guy that night, I thought we were over. I had a lot to drink and trust me, I always regret that. I wish I could take it all back and correct my mistake that I did.

*/ how we lost all that we are( tagging: christian crawford location: the mall appearance: outfit ) Indiana was somewhat glad that she had company now even if it was her ex boyfriend. It was quite good to see him and she just felt like hanging out with him now that she had seen him and spoken to him for like two minutes. The fact he had got her attention by asking for directions had half amused her to say the least. She found it funny that he couldn’t get her attention any other way but then again, he probably didn’t realise it was her especially since she had her back to him. Indiana wasn’t the most uncaring girl. She was actually more considerate than people believed her to be but that was mainly because she was always the rebellious type. She found it a little amusing when people judged her but at the same time, she felt insecure about those who judged her negatively on a constant basis. Having an eating disorder was one thing but being constantly put down because of how she sometimes acted was another. She had always been a bit insecure because of the fact she was never really around people all the time. Being homeschooled and also a girl who was constantly on the move, she hadn’t the time to make friends and keep steady relationships with them. Basically everyone she had met once upon a time she didn’t keep in contact with.
Looking him up and down, she came to the conclusion that he had only changed in appearance. He seemed to have become a little more masculine in a way and his hair seemed shorter than before or maybe that was her. It had been a good few months since she last saw him and quite awhile since they had dated. They had first got together when she arrived in New Haven almost two years ago and their relationship ended mutually yet they still remained on good terms surprisingly. ”Why would I have a problem with it? You know I always loved you the way you were.”
Part of her comment was sarcastic for the fact she hadn’t actually fallen in love with him and that both of them had constantly fought which just added to the sarcasm of the word love. Indiana hadn’t changed much unless you counted the fact her hair was longer and she was a little bit more taller now. She used to be five foot three-ish but not anymore. She had a sudden growth spurt. ”Yeah I used to be a little shorter but not much. I’m five foot five now without heels thank you very much.” She shrugged not sure why her height mattered. ”You always loved to put me down didn’t you? You definitely haven’t changed.” She shot a look of amusement at him and shook her head a little. It was typical that they were close to an argument once more and they’d only been in each other’s company for five minutes. Something about Christian had made her attracted to him even if she hadn’t fallen in love with him. Of course she had liked him and that like was still there somewhere but there was no point of her dwelling on the past. Their relationship had failed once and she wasn’t planning on going there again. It was the last thing she needed. Indiana wasn’t the sort of girl to blush but she did have her own ways of showing slightly embarrassment. She chewed her bottom lip for one thing. ”I guess that’s a slight bit of comfort to know I actually mean something to someone.” She smiled softly and balanced her weight out onto both feet so she was standing steady. ”We used to hang out all the time so can you blame me for missing you?” She stated, laughing a little more when she heard his next comment and she reached her hand towards him and shoved him gently. ”Hey! I laugh all the time I’ll have you know.” Indiana rolled her eyes at him and glanced around at the many people passing them by but she barely seemed to pay much attention to them. She looked back at him and listened to him tell her about his son which was somewhat shocking. ”He sounds cute. Would you let me meet him?” She asked, even though right now she was seething at the fact he’d cheated on her. It made her feel so much more insecure about herself that she was beginning to question why she dated people in the first place. Indiana wasn’t sure she wanted to listen anymore but she did an she soon found herself replying to him, no matter how much it annoyed her. ”Okay so maybe we weren’t the best couple around and maybe we shouldn’t have been together but I didn’t go and cheat on you did I? All I did was flirt with the guy and have some fun but you went all the way. Urgh, why didn’t you tell me sooner?” She groaned.[/blockquote] ( notes: bwahaha drama )

Christian somewhat loves having Indiana here, even though it was a bit awkward to say the least. He loves having her company because they can talk about what they missed in each other's lives after the break up that happened about two years ago. He really enjoys having her here and actually talking to her without no violence involved or anything bad that might hurt Chris. He's glad that he's still close and in good terms with Indiana because he missed having her company and missed talking to her like old times. He doesn't have much friends because he's mostly been busy taking care of his kid and working to pay off the bills. He regrets what happened, but at the same time he was glad because having his son in his life, made him a better man.
Christian studied her and noticed that she is pretty much the same since the last time he saw her. Just her appearance changed a bit, her hair is a little bit shorter than before, her body is skinny and sexy as hell, and her hair color is little more blond than before. He missed her gorgeous blue eyes, her beautiful smile, the cute way she laughs, and the fact that she doesn't give a crap what people think. They have been dating for about two years, since Indiana was moved here to New Haven and the way they ended their relationship was in a calmly way. He shrug his shoulders and said, Come on, you're not the type of person who would use the word love in a sentence. Besides, you weren't that good at showing it if I recall. He knew that she was being sarcastic about using the word love in a sentence. He knew that she was messing around with him.
You're five foot five now without heels? Wow, you did grew a lot then. He commented about her height with a small smile. Not always. Today you just have a glow on you that makes me wanna put you down. Thanks for noticing that I didn't changed, but I thought I did. It looks like you didn't changed either. He added with a smile, shrugging his shoulders. They barely started talking for about five minutes and they are already in the moment of having an argument. There was something about Indiana that made him attracted to her, but he doesn't know what that was. He wasn't in love with her, but he diffidently did liked her. He's not the type of person who likes using the word love because that's just how he was and he isn't planning on using the word just yet. He always thought that he was probably given a second chance with Indiana, but maybe that was on being friends.
He did liked the fact that Indiana isn't the type of person who likes showing people if she was blushing, but got her own ways showing it. He noticed that she smiled softly which made him smiled back. Where is this coming from? You knew that you meant everything to me, Indi. He said, calling her by the nickname that he's been telling her when they were dating. She did meant something to him, but they had their ways of showing it unlike the other couples. She was the one that he wanted and nothing wasn't gonna change that. He would even fight for her because that shows how she meant. No, I guess I can't blame you for that. He said with a smile. He laughed after he noticed her reaching her hand at him and giving him a shove. What? I hardly heard you laugh. I had a hard time making you laugh, I could barely put a smile on your face. He teased.
Christian heard Indiana saying if she could meet him which made him a bit surprised, but that wouldn't hurt if she did now would it? Yeah, I would let you meet him. He's just a bit shy though and he really doesn't like to talk much. He's been quiet ever since he was born. I've been trying to teach him how to talk, but he's not a fan of it. I think that he'll like you, Indi. He said, shrugging his shoulders, feeling a bit awkward about this. Christian and his son looks a lot alike. Joseph has his eyes, his hair color, and also his smile from Christian. He didn't want any of this to happen about him cheating on her. He knew that she didn't want to talk about it, but when he heard her saying something to him, he let out a deep small sigh. And what. being with me wasn't fun? Just being with me made you uncomfortable or made you go out mostly every night and come home all drunk that made me worried and the fact that you got arrested? he asked, not knowing whether they should argue here in the mall with people hearing what they were saying. Come on, at least when you were with me, at least you were safe. I wanted to tell you so badly, trust me, it was killing me inside. Hurting you was the biggest mistake that I ever did in my entire life.

*/ how we lost all that we are( tagging: christian crawford location: the mall appearance: outfit ) ”Maybe that’s because the word love is used so loosely these days. It never means anything.”
She stated quite simply. Indiana wasn’t against love but it truly was used so loosely and generally every five seconds in society. You’d see friends telling other friends they loved them and really, that meant nothing compared to what it should mean. She wasn’t one who was purposefully out to look for love unlike some she knew but she did know that maybe one day she’d admit to someone she was in love with them. At her age, it wasn’t something that really mattered anyway. A lot of people always assumed things with Indiana though. Like the fact she didn’t care about what people thought about her. Correction, she does care but she doesn’t let it show. If she did, people would know she had an eating disorder and people would know how insecure she is about certain things especially when it comes to other girls being highly better than her. ”And anyway, Chris. You never told me you loved me so you can’t talk.” She added, flashing a grin in his direction. They hadn’t loved one another but there had been strong feelings and attraction between them even if it was more lust than anything. Indiana did care about Chris but it was more in a friend way when they had dated. They’d spent half their time fighting that it made the whole point to their relationship pointless. However, they had remained on good terms after the breakup. The breakup had been quick, easy and of a mutual decision which just proved that both of them did have that sense of maturity in them. Indiana had wanted to end it because she was better off alone while Chris had clearly cheated on her. She hadn’t realised at the time that was the reason but it was and it sort of hurt her a little. She hadn’t cared that they hadn’t lasted for the fact neither of them had ended it on their own but other factors would have hurt her at the time. She was just more of the kind of person who tried not to let people know that she was insecure and got worked up inside quite easily. It was the last thing she needed; the sympathy act that was. Indiana nodded, ”I had a sudden growth spurt it seems. Not that it’s anything important ‘cause I tend to wear heels a lot so you don’t notice.” She had always been a heel kind of person and it was only occasionally that you would find her in sneakers. It was mainly when she had lack of energy in herself that she actually wore sneakers. She found herself laughing once again when he commented and shaking her head she replied, ”Oh how very kind of you. I’ll remind myself not to be like that around you anymore.” She rolled her eyes and proceeded to drag her own attention away from Christian while silence overcame their almost heated argument. In a way it was more of a pathetic argument that had no reason to be fought but they were nearly always ending up in an argument despite the fact they were still good friends. Indiana had a habit of using sarcasm around him a lot and sometimes it was her that caused the rift between them and other times it was him. They were both as much to blame as each other which was typical. She knew she wouldn’t be able to drag herself back into a relationship with him again. It was too much of a problem before and she wasn’t going to go through their one hundred arguments all over again like history was repeating itself. Indiana had also recently started to develop a small crush on someone else but that was something she wouldn’t mention to Christian. ”I couldn’t have meant much though, we were always fighting and shit.” She told him honestly. It was like today they were spilling out every bit of truth behind their relationship and like they were ending it once and for all on this particular day. Indiana wasn’t sure what she should say or do to end the almost argument. It was the last thing she needed on her day off college and she was already stressed enough. ”You can make it up to me today by having coffee with me, alright? I won’t take no for an answer!” She grinned at him as she almost told him exactly what he was going to be doing for the rest of the day. Indiana wanted to make it up to him for not being around and for causing issues in the past. If it meant dragging him to coffee, then so be it. Adjusting her shirt slightly, Indiana rested her glance on Christian once again and searched his eyes for some sort of a clue to what he was thinking. She was feeling quite paranoid for some reason and it wasn’t good. There was just something in the air that told her that she couldn’t just leave the past behind without spilling out the rest of her feelings. She shrugged at him and smiled a little, ”That was then, this is now. You seem to be quite capable of making me laugh and smile today, maybe it was just because we were always arguing?” Indiana was actually one happy person most of the time. She always tried to be optimistic to hide any issues or problems and she had learnt from Isaac that optimism was a good thing. He seemed to understand her more than she understood herself at times but she wasn’t sure whether it was best for her to let him know that she had more problems than she let on especially when he had cancer. When she asked if she could meet Christian’s son, she wasn’t sure what she was thinking. Indiana was never a kid person. But there was no harm in trying to make an effort was there? ”Well, I’ll make sure I’m not my usual loud self then. Honestly don’t worry, it’s not like I’m going to scare the life out of him.” She told him, ”What if he doesn’t like me though?” Whether or not she scared him, it was he who had to decide whether he liked Indiana and she wanted to make a good impression. But being herself might just be a bad thing. She sighed a little and shrugged, ”Being with you was fun, when we weren’t at each other’s throats. I went out because I wanted to and it was not my fault that I got arrested. I wasn’t even involved, I was just there at the wrong time.” Indiana stared at the floor before looking back up at Chris and trying not to make eye contact with him. ”Everyone makes mistakes which is why I wanna make it up to you. But here we are arguing again. When will it stop, Chris?” She asked, her voice almost pleading. There were certain things she couldn’t deal with and constant fights was one of those things.[/blockquote] ( notes: we're on a roll =p )

Christian heard the sentence that Indiana was telling him about the word, love, he couldn't agreed with her more. That was basically true about what she said. Yeah, you're right about that. It doesn't mean anything. He said simply while nodding his head slightly. He really isn't the kind of person who would uses the word term of love because what's the point of saying it to someone if you know that you mean it or not. Chris is one of those people who usually doesn't likes using the word because that's just not him. That is true also. All right then, I guess we don't have to talk about this. He added, shrugging his shoulders. He really didn't use the word while he was with Indiana and he never even say the word, not even once, but what he felt was true though. He just doesn't like to saw them to people or even doesn't like to say it. His relationship with her was quick and pointless because they didn't loved one another. All there was a lot of attraction between one another and lust than anything and that was a decision that they both agreed on.
Christian smiled about what she was telling him about her growth and about her heels. Maybe it's not noticeable to other people, but to me? Come on, I'll always see you as the little spurt that you were before, even if you were with heels. He teased with a smile and a laugh had escaped from his lips. He just loves teasing her because it was fun, but that's how he is and people can't blame him for that. He's the type of person who likes having some sarcasm with him. He noticed that Indiana had laugh once more and shaking her head which made him laugh. What? Come on, you know that you don't mean that. He joked with a smile. He felt a silence coming between them and who said that it was coming. There was a lot of arguments that Christian and Indiana were gonna go through all over again and he didn't want to argue anymore, especially the fact that he's seeing her once again since the breakup.
Today felt like all the truth behind their relationship was coming out of the open. He never thought that he would that this day of becoming honest and telling the truth will ever happen. Maybe that might be true, but you did meant something to me. I just haven't gotten the time to tell you that or at least proved it. He told her honesty. That was the complete truth because all they did was fight and argue mostly everyday, 24/7. When he heard what she told him what he can do to make it up to her to go and get some coffee. He laughed quietly while nodding his head as he just can't refuse a opportunity like that. All right fine, I'll have coffee with you. In the meantime, we can talk about anything that doesn't involve us having an argument. He added with a wide little grin while agreeing with her about the coffee that she offered.
That's true. We were arguing because that was the only thing that was the only thing that we were good at. I guess, I'm just lucky enough to make you smile and laugh today unlike before. He answered with a small shrug. Once he saw her again, he knew that she had this glow around her that he didn't notice before. It look like she was the happiest girl and it was a long time that he noticed in a long time. He then heard her mentioning about her meeting his son and noticed that she was a little bit nervous and she isn't the first person who acted like this. Don't worry about it. You'll be fine, Indi. I'm sure that he'll like you. He added with the honest truth. He knows that she isn't that very good with meeting kids, but if she just acts like herself and acts normal, then she'll be just fine about this.
Christian just stood there all quiet and listen to what Indiana had to say about the whole situation about her being arrested before. He believed her and he felt bad that he had to bring it up and have her explain to him about it. He wasn't very too sure about this. Whenever they are not around, there's no arguments about one little thing or fighting about something that wasn't meant to be there in the first place. He let out a small sigh while thinking what to say in a calmly voice and was looking around him. Um, I have no idea. I guess we could stop right now with the arguments and make a fresh start. Forget the past in the past and focus today and the future. He said, giving her an answer to her question. And I'm sorry about everything, Indi, about today and everything else. You can make it up to me by helping me pick out something to give to Joseph once you have a chance to meet him. I'm gonna buy him something and I need your help. He added, giving her a wide little grin and was hoping that she would say yes.

*/ how we lost all that we are( tagging: christian crawford location: the mall appearance: outfit ) Indiana nodded and smiled at him. She was glad they were agreeing on something for once in their lives. ”I could quite easily tell you I love you and it not mean anything.”
She told him with a shrug of her shoulders. She’d never been in love even though she had dated people. Not once had she found herself responding in the right way with the three words that guys often used. She was somewhat glad that Christian hadn’t been one of those guys to say it for no reason because she hadn’t been in love with him and she probably wouldn’t ever be in love with him. She arched an eyebrow at him when he replied and she was kind of glad by his response. She had half expected him to admit he had been in love with her and then this would definitely have been awkward. After gathering her thoughts, she finally managed to work up a voice to reply, ”I’m glad it’s true. I think it would have been much more difficult if you had been in love with me.” She didn’t really smile or anything – she gave more of a half-smile which seemed to be toying with the corner of her lips but at the same time there wasn’t much. Indiana was truly glad he hadn’t been in love with her. She’d never been good with love and she sort of wanted to figure it out before she found someone falling in love with her. It was kind of odd how she was always around guys but they never really developed feelings for her. In a way that was aimed at her band mates. The three of them were guys and she’d known them since she was sixteen. It was probably because they saw her as more of a very special friend than as someone they’d date but maybe she was wrong. Fiddling with the bottom of her shirt, Indiana focused her gaze on the floor momentarily before her eyes shot up to look at Christian and she scowled at him. ”You’re such a bully!” She whined, shoving him in the arm with as little strength as possible. She wasn’t going to hurt him. A lot of people expected a girl to be weak but Indiana could definitely throw a good punch. She wasn’t exactly pissed off at him for constantly teasing her but at times, it was something that would lower her confidence. She wasn’t the most confident person in herself and sometimes teasing was a bad thing. Indiana knew how to brush it off her shoulders though and pretend it wasn’t bothering her. She stuck her tongue out at him, finding herself in a happier mood than she had been in awhile. She wasn’t sure why it was but she wasn’t complaining. ”You should know by now that I love to mess around. If I meant it, I’d let you know.” She stated simply, shaking her head at him in a rather amused manner. Today was just another typical day for Indiana apart from the fact she was again arguing with her ex. She hadn’t planned to have a drama filled afternoon and maybe people around them were beginning to stare and whisper among themselves which was possibly why she mentioned having coffee as well as the other reason. ”Well, you don’t have to worry about proving it. It’s not like it’ll change anything between us; we’re only friends.” There was something about the conversation that led her to believe that he wanted a second chance. ”I suppose it was the only thing we were good at,” she stated quietly, thinking for a moment, ”It doesn’t have to be that way anymore though.” she added, a little more hopeful than before and a smile finally creeping across her lips. Indiana had spent the past two years questioning why she had settled in New Haven and started college when they offered a scholarship. She had wanted to travel more and she was still unsure whether she had made the right decision studying at school especially after so long of home education. She shook her mind of the thoughts and focused back on Christian. She felt a pang of happiness flow through her when he told her he was sure Joe would like her. ”Okay, I’ll stop worrying then.” She nodded to herself more than anything but she soon found her mind reeling on the fact that he’d mentioned her getting arrested. Indiana was a rebellious girl but the whole situation had not been her fault entirely but that was not to say she wasn’t involved. She had been involved but her arrest was a misunderstanding and one which she had to get her best friends to get her out of since her parents weren’t around. She chewed her bottom lip and stared at the floor, ”I’d like to move on. I’ve never been good at that but I want to forget about everything bad that happened between us.” It was the truth completely. ”I.. I forgive you. And I suppose I can help you out but I’m not very good at this sort of thing.”[/blockquote] ( notes: sorry it's late ): )

Christian had a smile on his face while hearing what Indiana was telling him. Okay then. Well, I love you too and it not mean anything either. He said with a small laugh while shrugging his shoulders. he never felt the word love to anybody and probably saying would maybe make him understand why people would say it. He always thought he would never understand why people would use the word love or why it even existed in this world, but he didn't care though. Once he heard about what she tell him and noticed that she didn't smile or anything which he thought that she said it in a serious tone. He thought about it and said, I was in love with you, Indi. Why do you think it explain me having to spend my free time with you like all the time. Okay, maybe we didn't prove that to each other, but the feelings that I had about you was true.
Chris looked around the mall and notice some people walking around them, but when he felt something shoving him in the arm, he looked over at Indi and laughed while grabbing his injured arm that she hurt, well he was faking it though. Ow, you have one killer arm. You should let me know the next time you're gonna hurt me. If I have a bruise, I'm gonna sue you for.. um, abuse? He joked with a smile as he knows that he'll never do that to her. He just loves messing around with her as it brings back memories to when the times they had this much fun hanging out. You're a bully. He teased, releasing his hand from his arm and slide them inside his pockets. He knows that he's been teasing her the entire time that they've been here and he was feeling a bit guilty about it, but he can't help it. He can't stop teasing because he just likes to tease her about something. Yes, of course I know that you love to mess around. Okay then, thanks for giving me a heads up. He continued, shaking his head with a small smile.
He nod his head and rub the back of his neck while staring down at the ground, not wanting to make eye contact on Indiana. Okay then, that's good. Yeah, of course. We're just only friends. He added, agreeing with what she said between them. He couldn't ask for anything better than being friends with her. Even though, he was having second thoughts about it, but he was thinking that having them friends would be better. When she said mention that arguing was the only thing they were good at, he just nod his head with a smile. Yeah, I would like that. Well, we can start by having coffee and having a nice conversation about anything. he comment, not knowing what else to say to her. He would like that they should stop arguing for once and just make a new fresh start between them. Stop thinking about the past and focus on right now and the future for their friendship. He notice that she was really nervous to meet Joe and he can understand why. Mostly people will be nervous and scared to meet him because they think that his son wouldn't approve of them, but Chris is sure that Indiana and Joseph will get along great. He just nod his head when he heard that she should stop worrying about it. She should stop worrying about as he knows that she'll be great. It's not like Joe bites or anything, at least he doesn't.
I know that, Indiana. Trust me, you're not the only one who wants to forget everything that happened between us. Besides, I forgive you too for everything. Just help me pick something out like a teddy bear. He continued, shrugging his shoulders as picking a teddy bear out would be great to start it off.

*/ how we lost all that we are( tagging: christian crawford location: the mall appearance: outfit ) ”I’ll always love you as a friend but I don’t think I can say I’d love you more than that.”
She stated quite simply, not bothering to linger with what she was trying to say. Indiana had put it as plain as she could and she hoped that Christian would understand that it meant she wouldn’t get back together with him. Not at this point in time anyway. She’d had enough of guys for awhile and she wanted to focus on her career and everything else that went along with college including homework. She wanted to make her band her main priority and for college to just fit in somewhere. She wasn’t sure she was there on her own terms anymore. The scholarship had been awarded and she sort of took it as an opportunity to do something different and that’s caused some questions to run through her mind on many occasions. Indiana looked directly into his eyes when he spoke and she felt sort of awkward. She hadn’t a clue what to say to him now and it scared her. It scared her to think that someone had been in love with her. ”You can’t have been in love with me. You hardly knew me! We just hooked up for a short while and realised we weren’t meant to be together. Just.. no.” She shook her head at him and smiled a little. Her remark hadn’t been one from the heart. She was just stating the truth which she had figured out when they had dated and after having him explain how he had been in love with her. Her smile turned into a laugh very quickly and she rolled her eyes at Christian. ”Pft, that didn’t hurt. You’re just a weakling.” She grinned at him and wrapped her arms around him in a big hug which felt so much more real and comfortable than the first one. She pressed her lips to his cheek in a friendly peck and pulled back soon after when he called her a bully. ”Well, that’s me apologising then.” She told him, tilting her head at him. Indiana and Christian were such a random pair. They loved teasing each other and just generally annoying each other like brothers and sisters would do. It was alright because they weren’t arguing and it just generally felt good. She liked having the air clear between them. Usually it would be clouded and tense and she would be beginning someone to appear with a tension cutting knife. Indiana chewed her bottom lip for a moment when he looked at the ground and she let slip a small sigh, ”It’s best that way y’know. We wouldn’t be able to be a couple again for the fact it’d probably be no different than before.” She shrugged and smiled sheepishly at him. She was trying to make this as easy as possible but in a way it was difficult to let go. Indiana knew what it was like to have to let go of things. She’d had to let go of her travelling life for college which she missed very much and now she was letting go of a past relationship. ”Coffee and a catch up sounds good,” she said, getting quite excited now. It would be different from them arguing at least. ”To a fresh start I say.. and a teddy bear for your little boy.” She nodded enthusiastically and glanced around at the shops. She was sure she would be able to find something for Joe in the mall; especially with the amount of shops there were that sold gifts and things alike.[/blockquote] ( notes: sorry this was bad. )

Christian was wondering where this was coming from. um, i feel the same way. why were you telling me that, Indiana? he asked, tilting his head at her while folding both of his arms and pressing them against his chest. he can understand why they will never be in a relationship again like before and he sees that. He's been paying more attention to his child and his work that he really doesn't have time of being in a relationship. So, he just nod his head to what she was telling him and said, Well, that is true. He didn't know what else to say to her because he was suddenly out of words.
After that shove she gave him, Christian noticed that she laugh to the compliant that he told her about her strength and the way she rolled her eyes made him laugh. Well, maybe not for you. I'm not weakling, you just have a strong shove, that's all. He was grinning a bit. He then felt Indiana wrapping her arms around him in a hug and then felt her lips pressing on his cheek for a quick peck before she pulled away after he return the hug. OK then, well I accept your apology. He said, with a small smile that appeared on his face. Indiana and Christian just likes teasing, annoying one another, and trying to get under each other's skins like how brothers and sisters would act. He was glad that they both finally had cleaned up the air between them.
I know that, Indiana. trust me, I just want us to be friends like the way we were before we became a pair. he added, nodding his head with a small little grin the grew a bit on his face. He knows what she was telling him or trying to say to him and he can understand completely. She's just trying to let go the past and trying to clean the air between them which is good because that's exactly what he wants too. Good. So, I guess we should start with the fresh start, get that coffee, and the teddy bear now. He continued, grinning a bit.
