those are the requirements from the canon list, as well as his last name being WRIGHT. i want to start this friendship off from the very beginning, so they have no history just yet, just a future. his name is completely up to you, except for last name, but for the sake of his plot ad, i'll call him taylor. okay, so rae and taylor meet and they click instantly. they become good friends and rae feels like she can trust him enough to tell him her secrets and know he won't tell anyone and stuff like that, but that's after a while. anyway, i'm thinking that taylor has a crush on rae, but says nothing about it because she's so happy with carter at the moment. she's going to continue to date carter, while taylor and rae flirt and things, but it's nothing serious in her mind. meanwhile, taylor and carter are having some sort of private battle for rae's affections. eventually, rae and carter are going to have trouble and she runs to taylor for comfort. he comforts her and i'm thinking something happens, like they kiss and whatnot. anyway, she'll end up making up with carter and taylor can resent rae for doing that when she knew she would go back to carter instantly. anyway, that can cause a rift between the pair until she and carter go their separate ways and she tries to win taylor back and in the process, realises that he was what she wanted the entire time.
