*/ i know i'm playing with fire( tagging: zackary hastings location: campus cafe appearance: outfit ) A strong smell of coffee could be significantly smelt in the library. Most students seemed to have grabbed a morning coffee before sitting down in the silence of the library to study or to just read up on some extra notes. One girl, Savannah Kimball, was not drinking coffee nor was she doing any extra work or even homework like you would typically expect of her. She wasn’t a teacher’s pet and though she was highly intelligent, there were times when she thought ‘fuck homework’ or ‘fuck college’. Today was one of those days and so she was sat on a table in the library with her full attention on the book she was reading. The Time Travellers Wife was the name of the book and it was so very captivating that she couldn’t seem to put it down. It was just useful that she didn’t have lessons until the afternoon when she would then have to worry about the fact she’d probably failed her history essay. Savannah wasn’t the sort who pledged for attention and constantly complained about how she felt she failed an essay. She knew when something wasn’t quite right with her own work and didn’t flaunt the fact that she’d failed. She kept it to herself entirely. She managed to tear her eyes away from the book for a moment so that she could rummage into her bag and pull out a blueberry muffin – freshly made might she add. She carefully unwrapped it from its covering and pulled a bit off it, sticking it into her mouth before she continued to read the book which seemed to have her mind wanting to know what happens next. She was very much into love stories and this one would definitely bring a tear to her eye by the end. It was a shame love wasn’t like that in real life.
Savannah ate the muffin slowly while she tried to keep her focus on the book. She knew that the bell would go soon and most students would disappear off for lunch in the café and she too would probably join them. She was beginning to feel a lot hungrier despite the fact she was eating a muffin. She’d skipped breakfast since she needed to go for her usual morning run and then she spent the next two – three hours caught up in her book. Lately she’d been feeling a lot more tired and out of breath. She didn’t even consider the fact it might be due to her heart and so she continued to go about her usual sporting activities. Savannah would go to the doctor but right now, she just didn’t have the time. Well, she did but going alone wasn’t the most comforting idea and since nobody other than her family knew about the operation she’d had on her heart, she had to wait for a convenient time for them. The bell soon sounded for lunch and Savannah remained put while she watched a mass amount of students disappear out of the library in attempts to get to the queue first for lunch. She slowly packed her things away and stood to her feet, pulling her hoodie over her head and onto her skinny frame. She wasn’t really dressed up today. She was in a typical hoodie and jeans with one of her favourite shirts. She had a wristband on and of course, a pair of sneakers. Savannah slung her bag over her shoulder and traipsed out of the library accordingly to make her way to the cafeteria where she would hopefully get a decent sized meal. She was starving.
The queue was surprisingly shorter than she expected when she arrived in the cafeteria and using her initiative, she headed straight to it and chose what she wanted to eat. Savannah chose macaroni and cheese, apple juice and her dessert as jelly. She smiled to the cook as she paid for her meal and she balanced her bag and meal while trying to find a place to sit. Savannah noticed that many of her friends weren’t around yet but there was one person she knew; Zackary Hastings. She approached him and his table and with her usual chirpy and cheerful voice she spoke to him, ”Hey, hope you don’t mind if I sit.”
She placed her bag on the floor and her tray on the table and she sat down opposite him, watching him with what he was doing. Savannah brushed her blonde locks out of her eyes and started to fiddle with her fork as she started eating her food. ”Where’ve you been? I haven’t seen you in awhile.” Or maybe she just wasn’t looking hard enough. Savannah had been friends with Zackary since the beginning of their first year and she had taken a liking to him. She’d seen the best in him unlike most people and she quite liked his company. She sort of hoped he liked being around her too and by the sounds of things, he actually generally did like her company. It was comforting to know that somebody didn’t just see her as a geek or a bookworm.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ( notes: hope this is okay! )

( TAGGED: savannah kimball LOCATION: campus cafe APPEARANCE: outfit ) The strong scent of coffee could be significantly smelt in the hallways. Most students seemed to have grabbed a morning coffee before heading to their locations. Only one boy didn't had the morning coffee and his name is Zackary Hastings, he just got out of the library because he was researching about the American Revolutionary War that happened between the year 1775-1783. He had to do a project for his U.S History class that he just had moments ago, which was why he was at the library. He didn't know much about the war besides that the war was between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the thirteen united former Britain colonies in North America. Zack isn't the kind of person who likes to pay attention during class because he just hates listening to the boring teacher who repeats herself over and over again. He decided to take out his iPod from his pocket. He wrap the earphones around his neck and had them hanging on his shoulders while he was turning the device on. He then put on the earphones in his ears and was looking through for a song. He had the volume on twenty five and was listening to Don't Trust Me by 3OH!3 and continued walking. He decided to go get some coffee since he had a free period and he didn't want to waste the rest of his free time in the library and read a book.
Zackary arrived at the campus cafe and got inside the building. He look around and notice that the cafe was beginning to be filled up and not a lot of tables were available because people were just talking to their friends, even though they were done with their meal. He was in line and just waited while changing the song from his iPod. After the song was over, he change the song and was listening to Meet Me Halfway by Black Eyed Peas. The line was getting shorter and shorter by the minute. He look up at the cook and gave her a wide little smile and gave her the money because he had to pay his lunch. After he paid, he got his tray and was choosing what to eat. He choose macaroni and cheese, ham and cheese sandwich, and apple juice. After he got his food, he look around for a table and found one, was sat down and placed his backpack next to him.
Zackary was just about to eat until he was interrupted by someone asking him if it was okay if he sit here. He look up and smiled when he noticed who it was. You know that I can't say no to you. He said, with a smile and allowed her to sit with him, she sat down on the opposite side. He couldn't believe how good Savannah looked today, but then again, she always looks good with anything. He heard a question from Savannah about where he has been and that she hasn't seen him in a while. Um, I've been good. I've just been busy with this stupid history project that I have to turn in on Monday. He said, shrugging his shoulders. Which was true though, he has been extremely busy with the project. What about you huh? How have you been? He asked the same question back. He loves Savannah's company. He can talk to her about anything and he feels different whenever he's around her. He never felt like this in a long time and that is a good thing, right?

*/ i know i'm playing with fire( tagging: zackary hastings location: campus cafe appearance: outfit ) The cafeteria wasn’t one of the most amazing places to be but since Savannah was hungry, she had little choice but to grab some food and sit among the many students who seemed to slowly be piling in the doorways. She’d much rather be back in the library reading the book she was enjoying so very much but that wasn’t going to happen at all. So instead she focused on getting some decent food and perhaps a decent table. The cook and the person serving her were in their usual chirpy mood and it made her giggle a little. She could hear the cook singing away as she prepared some more food while the server rolled her eyes and attempted to stifle back some giggles which were being prompted by none other than Savannah. She got her food on her tray and she left the pair to it while still giggling away to herself. Savannah gathered up her knife and fork and focused on finding a table which didn’t take long since Zackary was in sight and he was sat at a table alone which was quite surprising in her opinion. She was used to be alone but usually he wasn’t. He had a ton of friends that she half expected him to be surrounded by. But part of her was glad he wasn’t.
Savannah smiled as she sat down opposite him and soon started eating the food she had just brought. He seemed pleased to see her which was good enough for her. ”Aw I’m glad. I don’t fancy searching any further for somewhere to sit since I’m actually starving.”
She smiled sheepishly in response to him and continued to place her macaroni cheese on her fork and eat it quite contently. It tasted so good. She placed her fork down after a few large mouthfuls and she pulled the straw off her apple juice carton and stuck it in the top. Apple juice was definitely a favourite of hers. It was just so pure and refreshing and it well, tasted so delicious. Savannah nodded at his response to her question. She studied history as well and she knew how it felt. ”I’m guessing it’s the one I already handed in since y’know, I take history too.” Of course he knew that, she was basically the top hat in the class. Or so some people would agree yet she never really got people begging her for help or anything. She loved history and though she wasn’t sure about her future, she knew that she would be proud to get a decent grade in history. It was something she had been good at in high school and she just decided that it was a good idea to continue with it in college. ”I’ve been surprisingly good. A little more tired than usual but still good.” She replied with a shrug of her shoulders. She never really implied something was wrong but maybe something was wrong. If she was constantly feeling warm out and tired and she was getting highly exhausted at times after her sporting activities then maybe something wasn’t quite right with her system. Or, she could be working too hard. ”Is the history coming along alright? Wouldn’t want to get into too much trouble now, eh?” Savannah offered a genuine smile. She was pretty thoughtful and if someone did need her help, she’d give it to them. And since Zackary was a good friend, it was her job to at least keep an eye out for him. After all, he had been a good friend since she’d known him.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ( notes: this sucked. )

( TAGGED: savannah kimball LOCATION: campus cafe APPEARANCE: outfit ) The cafeteria has to be one of the places that people likes to hang out with their buddies while enjoying their lunch and talking to their buddies. At least, its where you can get some delicious food, well sorta. They don't actually served some delicious food, but at least the taste is good and fresh. Besides, Zackary wasn't that hungry to eat. Now, that he has some company that he cannot refuse of having or even talk to about something that understands what he's going through or what's been going on in his mind.
Savannah Kimball. She is the only girl that Zackary can actually talk to about anything and be himself for once. He's this confident, player, womanizer, and smart ass are the only things that people know him by. When he's around Savannah, he acts different like for example, he can be down to earth, caring, independent, and sensitive. He never felt this way with anyone in his entire life. She's one good influence on him and he's glad having Savannah by his side and a good friend. As time went by, he's been feeling something that he can't explain or talk about, he's feeling something that he never had or experience before. He thinks that he might be.. crushing on her or something. Mostly, whenever he's around with someone, first they have a smooth conversation which involves with drinking and getting wasted, from there it involves the bed and blah blah blah. When he's with Savannah, nothing happen except having a nice conversation.
Zackary noticed a smile that appeared on Savannah's face and just couldn't resist, but to smile back. She had the most beautiful smile that he had ever seen. He then started to eat his food that he picked out. He started with the macaroni and cheese first as he picked up his fork. He heard something coming from Savannah and listen to what she had to say to him. He laughed at the comment that she said. Well, you know that I fancy your company. He said with a wide small smile before he continued eating the macaroni and cheese with the fork. You know what, I think it was. You know how I like to turn in my work. He said, shrugging his shoulders.
History and Zackary doesn't go well together. It's one of the subject that he's not good at. Well, then again there's science, math, and language arts. Besides that, he's good at everything like photography. He loves taking pictures, he loves the different kind of cameras, and the fact that you can see that in his future. Let me ask you a question, how good are you with the revolutionary war? Maybe you can help me because I have no idea what to do. He said with a small laugh, but true. He had nothing what he's doing, besides he knows that history is one of the subjects that Savannah is good on. History is not coming all right. I searched about the war on the internet and I actually read the information from a book, but it wasn't what I needed to write about. No, I guess not. He added as he looked at her and saw a genuine smile on her face. He just smiled back at her and let out a small laugh.

*/ i know i'm playing with fire( tagging: zackary hastings location: campus cafe appearance: outfit ) Savannah never really judged people and when she met Zackary, she didn’t think twice about judging him. It wasn’t something that he deserved and she was always the one to see the best in people which was something that could be good and bad. To be taken in the positive way, it meant that she could bring out the best in people but in a negative way, it could land her in being taken advantage of because she was so nice to people. Savannah was generally a complete sweetheart. She wasn’t someone to yell or hurt someone’s feelings. She didn’t really have the guts to do that at all and that was what made her a little on the weaker side. Nobody really saw her as more than a friend either. She would spend a majority of her time just being friends with guys because she wasn’t the most girly, pretty or even slutty person around. It was the typical guy thing. They’d always go for the girls who flaunt what they have when Savannah wasn’t like that. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t romantic or a good girlfriend – she was just not one of those typical day-to-day girls. She didn’t care though.
With the fact she’d had a heart operation when she was younger, she didn’t know where her life would lead and whether her heart would shorten her life. No matter how much she wanted romance, she was somewhat unsure whether it would be a good idea to get romantically involved with a guy and drag him into her issues. It was one of the last things she truly wanted but she couldn’t help but wonder if she maybe did feel something for a guy. Savannah was beginning to feel more and more attracted to Zackary and she just felt like maybe she liked him a little too much. He always made her smile even if he didn’t do anything and it was slowly turning into one of those lame teen crushes that would probably end in heart break if she wasn’t careful. Savannah knew what kind of guy he really was but she did what she did best and overlooked that, hoping that she’d get the real him out of the shell and she had done but she thought that maybe it was an act. ”I guessed that after the many times we hung out together.”
She responded with a smile. It was true, the pair had hung out many times before but recently not so much and she would have her answer as to why pretty shortly. ”Better late than never, I suppose.” She shook her head and rolled her eyes. It was typical of her to hand it in early and for him to hand it in late. They were such a mismatched pair but it was also somewhat adorable. Savannah didn’t want to admit to herself that maybe, just maybe, she was actually crushing on him. ”How good am I? Erm, I can’t say it’s a strong point. But maybe later we can hang out in the library or whatever and I can help? Sort of tutor you I guess?” She shrugged her shoulders as she continued to eat her mac & cheese and drink her oh so lovely apple juice. Savannah loved history but there were certain aspects that got her in the deep end as well and sometimes asking for help was a wrong move. In a way helping Zackary meant that she would get to hang out with him and that was kind of the whole idea. ”History gets like that sometimes. The whole thing is interesting but writing about it can be daunting and that’s coming from the history “geek” apparently.” It didn’t bother her that people thought she was a geek in history. She actually wanted to get a decent career later in life.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ( notes: sorry it took so long ): )

( TAGGED: savannah kimball LOCATION: campus cafe APPEARANCE: outfit ) Zackary has been judged through his life because of how he is now like people judging him because he's a player or he's a smart ass who likes doing nothing, but run his mouth. The truth is that everything that he does is just an act because inside he's actually sweet and down to earth, but doesn't like to show it because he doesn't want no one judging him in a bad way. Savannah is one of the person who hasn't judged him since the moment they met. She is the only one who can see the real Zackary unlike everyone else which made him think that she's the only one who can see the real him unlike his friends and other people which is a shock. Sometimes Zack doesn't see some good inside him, but now that he has Savannah, it makes everything different.
Zack had never felt something like this that he has for Savannah. There's something about her that makes him feel like butterflies or something inside his stomach that he never felt before. He was beginning to have a crush on her because the more time he spends time with her, the more his feelings become stronger about her. He sees something about her that a smile always appears on Zack's face every time he sees her. He's always been wanting to know how it feels to be in love and now he knows how that feels. These feelings that he has for Savannah is torturing because he wants to tell her what he feels, but at the same time he thinks that she might not feel that way because he's Zackary and he doesn't deserve someone like her. What? We like keeping each other company together. He said with a smile back. These two have been hanging out recently and people can't blame them for wanting to keep each other company.
He let out a small laugh after he saw the way she rolled her eyes. Exactly, right? He added, shrugging his shoulders. She likes turning in her homework on time while Zackary likes turning in his homework a bit late and that was somewhat cute for the mismatching pair? After the feelings that he's been dealing with, he feels like he's actually falling for her. Zack has a crush on Savannah. You tutor me? Hmm, I guess that sounds like a good idea. So, meet you in the library? Okay then, that's fine by me. He said, shaking his head as a yes with a wide little grin. He continued eating his mac and cheese before he finally open his apple juice and took some sips since his throat was beginning to feel dried. Yup, that's diffidently true. I mean, I have the idea in my head, but once it comes to writing it in paper, I can't even write it down. I guess, my mind hates the paper or something. He added, teasing a bit, but it was true though. He has his mind filled with many ideas, but once it comes to writing it on a piece of paper, he has nothing.
( COMMENTS: sorry for the late post. i had nothing to write about. ): )
