* you really blow my mind ,CARTER HOFFMAN . 718 WORDS . CLOTHES . COMPLETE ME IS THINKING THESE TWO SHALL BE SUPER EPIC!
RAE was actually surprised by how much fun she'd had going out to dinner with Carter. He was consistently exceeding her expectations in more ways than just one. The first was the fact that he hadn't tried to get her into bed yet. With his reputation, that should have happened a little while ago. It was well known that Carter Hoffman was a huge womanizer and took pride in his conquests. Even with his appalling attitude, Rae understood why women would subject themselves to him. He was attractive, he was rich, and beneath that asshole exterior, he was genuinely nice person. She had absolutely no idea why she was the person who got to glimpse at that side of him. She hadn't known him very long, but she had gotten to see another side to him and it pained her to admit that she did like what she saw. It was different, the way he interacted with her. She was not some idiotic child who used that as an excuse. She saw the way he spoke to other females. It was vastly different. It was also highly unexpected. What could she have done to deserve the difference in tone. It was more than just an act. She knew that much by how much he had revealed to her in a conversation. Sure, it had been a sharing session, but she had learned a lot about him. It had been nice and oddly comforting to be able to talk so freely to someone.
DINNER was long over and they had spent the time walking around, despite the cold weather. The restaurant hadn't been far from Carter's home, so the pair found themselves in his neighbourhood, strolling along the street. It was getting colder, but she would hate to ruin the mood by requesting to move inside. She just pulled her jacket tighter around her and moved a tiny bit closer to Carter, hoping to gain some of his body heat. It was ridiculous just how warm he felt. Rae nudged him with her hip as he made a smart comment and shook her head. "Do you ever have anything nice to say?" She pouted, although the effect was ruined by the smirk toying with the corner of her mouth. Her tone screamed humour, so he would have had to be blind to miss those signals. The two strolled further down the street and in moments, Rae had inched even closer to him, so much so that their arms occasionally brushed together. She was at ease, which was odd for her, as this was the point of any date where she would be terrified that her companion would attempt to jump her. That was the very thing that Rae wanted to avoid. Sexual contact wasn't something she was comfortable with. Kisses and hugs were more her thing. Making out was pushing it. Anything beyond that made her highly uncomfortable for some odd reason.
"I had fun tonight," she said to him with a small smile on her face. It was certainly the truth and not just some polite statement that one was usually expected to say at the end of a date with absolutely no intention of every speaking to the other party again. That was the last thing that she possibly could've meant. She did have a great time and was actually wondering if she would have the chance for another date. "I'm not just saying that." Rae nudged him with her shoulder, glancing up at him from under her hair. There was a very high possibility that Rae liked Carter. In the back of her mind, she knew that it couldn't really happen. She was seventeen. He was twenty-six. That was a nine year age gap. As far as Carter was away, it was only seven years, which was a slightly more acceptable figure. Well, at least he would not have to worry about the possibility of jailtime for having sex with jailbait. If she were being honest, he would not need to have that concern anyway. Rae was in no way ready for any type of sexual relation. In fact, that thought shouldn't have crossed her mind as they were only on their first date. Rae was definitely not that type of girl, despite what her profession hinted at.

LOCATION: WOOSTER SQUARE OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: EIGHT HUNDRED - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Well this was completely different for Carter. He wasn't used to going on actual dates. He hadn't in quite sometime but he had went and asked Raegan out on one and truth be told he had a good time. It was weird, around Raegan things just seemed different, she saw past the asshole exterior he put up and she actually wanted to get to know him. It was different that much was for sure and unlike other females that he hung around with he wasn't just in this for the sex because obviously she wasn't putting out. Not that he really minded in this moment because it felt good to know that she didn't just want his money or sex from him, she actually wanted to get to know him and that was well, that was something that he was really starting to like about her. Carter knew that she was younger than him by quite a few years but it wasn't like people hadn't been interested in those who were younger than them in the past or even the present. She was over the age of eighteen so that didn't really matter. It wasn't like he could go to jail for being interested in her and if he did decide to actually try to pursue a relationship with her he was in the clear. He shouldn't even be thinking this way, he didn't do relationships, he couldn't. They all ended in heartbreak and he wasn't sure if he could put himself back out on the line like that again. For some odd reason though he wanted to even though he shouldn't. He wanted to see where this thing with her could go.
After dinner was over the pair of them began to make their way back toward his house but really made no effort to get there. Instead they enjoyed their time outside even though it was quite chilly. From the corner of his eye Carter caught her pulling her jacket tighter around her and and inch closer to him so he moved one of his hands up to his jacket and slipped it off before draping it over her shoulders without a word. "I swear that waiter we had was gay. I don't know how you didn't see it.
" Carter continued on with the conversation they were having and at her question he laughed. " I have my moments. They don't come very often though. He admitted with a small shrug of his shoulders. Not that he really cared what people thought about him so he usually just blurted out what he wanted to say with no real regard to if he would offend someone. With Rae he seemed to watch his tongue a lot more though and he never spoke to her like he spoke to half the girls he usually ran into around town. He couldn't help it that he was attracted to her, there was just something about her that was different and he liked. He wanted to get to know her more. Raegan was intriguing and interesting, she could make him laugh and he could have conversations with her, it was something he loved and that was probably why he enjoyed being with her so much. " So did I." Carter responded with a smile as he looked down at her. When he felt their hands brush against each other once more instead of ignoring it he actually wrapped his fingers around her own and held her hand. " So are you glad you came, Shorty?" Carter was curious as to how she really felt about not only the date but about him. She had mentioned in the chatroom that she might like him but of course being a female she refused to say it straight out and beat around the bush. It both aggravated and intrigued him, why he still wasn't sure. Most of the time if a girl didn't give him a straight answer he would say 'fuck you' and move on to the next one. Not this time though. The night air was cool against his now jacketless body but he didn't really mind it. There had been nights that he had been dressed in far less walking around outside, plus he had been a football player, he was used to sitting on the bench or playing in nothing but a short sleeved shirt. She was smaller than he was and not as used to the cold or she just got cold easily he assumed so his jacket would do her much more good then it would do him. Who would have thought that Carter Hoffman could be a gentleman, it was probably the last thing people thought of when his name was mentioned. He was full of surprises, people had to know that by now.[/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: NINJA POST AT 6 AM MAKES ME EPIC ;D

HER shoulders jerked as she felt the weight of his jacket placed on her shoulders. It wasn't something she had expected, but she did appreciate the gesture. She looked at him however with a small look of concern. "You didn't really have to. You must be cold?" However, Rae did appreciate the gesture and pulled it over her shoulders more securely with her hand that was not closest to his body. At his comment, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. She knew Carter well enough to know that he was the type who didn't give a damn about what people thought. That was a definite feature that made him attractive. However, Rae had no idea just how bad Carter was. He was always rather kind to her, although they did have their jokes and they did have the occasional rude comment to each other. That was how they were programmed to function. However, she could appreciate the effort he put in to be kind to her. Even if she hadn't seen him at his worst, she had heard enough to make assumptions about what it was like. She could appreciate him being a gentleman and being polite and even paying for the dinner, although he had paid her a ridiculous sum of money not too long ago. "They usually come around me?" she asked with a small smirk on her face.
GLANCING up at him with a large grin on her face, she nudged him gently before his hand enclosed around her own. She was surprised to find how warm it still was despite the weather. Rae simply shrugged, despite knowing the answer to Carter's question. She just wanted to let him suffer for a moment. The date was something she enjoyed. She normally found dinner dates tedious and repetitive and despised going out on them. With him, however, it was different. He had made her laugh so hard that she'd had to excuse herself from the table to check that her make up hadn't run."Yes, I definitely am. It was fun." She probably should've used a better word than fun, but she was going to keep this light. It was a first date. She didn't know much about Carter yet and she wasn't going to rush into anything. With his reputation, she had to be careful. She did not know him well enough to trust him to pick up on her uneasiness with physical relationships, but she hoped that he respected her enough to give her space once he did pick up on it. She was wondering how long it would be before she would have to tell him this. Silence fell, but she was perfectly content with it. It was such a pretty scene, walking hand in hand with Carter through a snowy street.
AFTER a few moments, she looked up at him again. "Are you sure you're not cold? You can have your jacket back. I'm fine, really." She smiled to show that she was being sincere, although she was kind of hoping he wouldn't take her up on the offer. His jacket was warm and it smelled like him. A cool breeze blew hard enough to ruffle the hair on her head. She shivered slightly, looking guilty at the thought of Carter. "Maybe we should call it a night. Or go back to your place? I don't know about you, but a coffee sounds great." She was hoping he wouldn't particularly mind. The moment the words were out of her mouth, she hoped that he wouldn't interpret it as 'let's go back to your place and have sex.' That was the last thing that she had in mind. She would just have to set up clear boundaries, she decided as she waited for him to answer her question. Rae was known for her self-control and her persistance. Besides, if she were to believe Carter, he liked her, for more than just sex obviously as they'd never slept together. She had faith he would respect the decision should she have to voice it.

LOCATION: WOOSTER SQUARE OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: SEVEN SEVENTY NINE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The removing of his jacket and placing it on her shoulders had been something he had done without a second thought. Usually he wasn't the guy that was the gentleman and usually he wouldn't let anyone wear his varsity jacket but right Rae things were just different. "I'm fine.
" He stated giving her a smile as he nudged her arm. Carter had learned long ago that it was always good to wear more than one layer in weather like this and since he had on a long sleeve button up and a blazer under his jacket he knew that he would be fine and probably wouldn't get sick from the cold. The chilly air wasn't bothering him all that much and plus he had plenty of muscle to keep him warm while Rae really didn't. At her next set of words he let out a throaty chuckle and dropped his gaze for a moment and watched as his foot kicked some snow up off the pavement. " Yeah, they do." He responded as he lifted his gaze up to look at her and Carter gave her one of his trademark smiles. Damn her and her ability to make him act ways that he hadn't acted since the whole Abby thing went down. Since all that he had become a bigger ass than he already was and pretty much just closed himself off from people even more, never wanting to really commit because he was afraid the same thing would happen again. When she grinned up at him and his hand wrapped around her own he gave hers a gentle squeeze before intertwining their fingers together. He saw her shrug and he sent a playful glare in her direction but said nothing. Carter was beginning to get used to how she dodged his questions and made him sweat when it came to a lot of things. It intrigued him in a lot of ways because he was always trying to figure out what she was thinking or what she was going to do next because she didn't always tell him and she was far from predictable like the other girls he knew were. Maybe that's what had him liking her, had him hanging on to her every word, he wasn't sure but that could be part of it, right? " I'm glad you enjoyed yourself." Carter stated with a smile. " I don't think I've ever had that good of a time going out for dinner to be completely honest. Most of the time I'm looking for a way to get out of a restaurant and dump the girl on some other unsuspecting soul." At least Carter was being honest with her, right? The silence that then passed between them allowed him to think back to the night they had shared together so far and the fun they had had. It was good fun that didn't involve his usual drunken escapades or quick sex sessions before hitting up a game of billiards or checking the scores on one of the sport games. Carter wasn't one to really think the way he was thinking about trying to pursue a relationship with her but it seemed to be a thought he couldn't shake from his mind. If it came down to it and he actually asked her out what would she say? Would she deny him for some reason or would she actually accept it? He wanted to know the answer to that badly but it was only their first date, there would be time for that later on. " No, keep it. I don't want you getting sick on me now. Plus it looks better on you then it does on me." Carter laughed softly as he glanced at her from the corner of his eye and gave her the twice over and then nodded in approval. " Definitely sexier than I look in it." He confirmed with a nod. " How about we go back to my place? I'm not ready to bring you home just yet." Carter stated with a smile as he led her toward his house. Luckily they weren't far away and after arriving there he led her inside and down the hall to the kitchen and after arriving there he leaned back against the counter. " Just coffee or do you want something else, too? Carter asked before pushing himself away from the counter and moving over to the cabinet and he pulled out two mugs and then the coffee. Once the coffee was in the coffee maker and it was brewing he walked over to the fridge and opened it up. " I have some leftover cheesecake if you're in the mood for that?" [/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: I GOT SO DISTRACTED WRITING THIS

* you really blow my mind ,CARTER HOFFMAN . 738 WORDS . CLOTHES . COMPLETE SUCCESS! ANOTHER POST IS DONE. WOO HOO!
ONE thing he could be sure of was that she had no idea how she managed to make him act in such ways. Rae didn't know what was so special about her and why Carter seemed to be attracted to her. She didn't regret it in the least bit. He was an attractive guy who was fun and kind, despite the front he put on. Later, she would piece together that it was probably because of his past relationship with Abby, but right now, she knew nothing. She was happy to walk with him in near silence, her hand in his, their fingers laced together. It was nice and Rae realised that she hadn't experienced a simple gesture such as this one in a very long time. She was very comfortable with it, which was surprising as usually she usually felt just a little bit awkward after a little while, especially when silence fell. It was like hand holding was a substitute for conversation. "I feel exactly the same way. Well, not the dumping my date part anyway. But I normally hate dinners because it's so boring. But you made it fun." She did not particularly appreciate his honest comment. That was a horrible thing to say and she had started to wonder if he had contemplated doing that to her. She looked up at him, but she could see that he was being honest. She then smiled softly and looked back out in front of them, her hand still in his.
WHILE he may have been thinking about a relationship between the two, Rae was about keeping it light and casual. She had yet to be proven that this wasn't just some very clever act of Carter's so she was on her guard. However, deep down she did know that he was serious with what he said. Like a guy with his reputation could afford to tell a girl like her that he had some kind of feelings for her. She may have been young, but she was by no means stupid or naive. She had existed in an adult world long enough to know what happened. However, she was lucky that here, relationships were more simple. It was straight forward and there were less of those idiotic mind games, well at least with Carter. It was probably wrong of her to assume they didn't happen completely, but very little was left to guessing with him, which Rae appreciated. She hadn't had enough experience with guys in high school to learn to decode those stupid hints and signals they sent her way. She laughed at his compliment, although she felt uneasy being assessed that way, which was odd. That was all people did when she was on stage taking her clothes off for them. It was differently with him though. "Thanks," she said to him with a giggle, letting go of his hand for a moment to spin in a circle. Once facing ahead once more, she took her hand in his.
WITH a nod of her head, she let him direct her to his home for the cup of coffee. She followed him to his kitchen, as ease in his home as she had already been there. It was a lot nicer and a lot larger than anything she could ever hope to afford, but she could still act like she owned the place. Once she entered the kitchen behind Carter, she moved to one of the stools at the island bench and sat down, taking the chance to remove her heels. Luckily, she had gotten used to walking in heels a long time again, so her feet weren't murdering her. "No, a coffee's fine," she replied with a small smile, but that was before he found cheesecake. When he offered that, her eyes lit up and she stood, leaving her shoes on the floor beside the stool and her clutch on the table and moved over to stay besides him in front of the open fridge. "You sure know a way to a girl's heart. I'd love some." She moved back to give him room to negotiate, leaning against the counter instead. She looked for a moment, before lifting herself up and sitting on it. It may not have been the most hygeinic thing ever, but this was just Rae making herself at home. Besides, now she was more on Carter's level and didn't feel so short.

LOCATION: WOOSTER SQUARE OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: SEVEN SEVENTY SEVEN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Usually things like this never happened to Carter. Usually he wouldn't fall for a girl like this and usually he wouldn't even be thinking of a relationship. Right now things were different though and he was. It was mind blowing to be completely honest and he wanted to figure out why everything was turning out this way. Raegan was just a girl like the other ones he had met, the other ones he had just pushed to the side with no regard but when it came down to her he didn't want to do that. Sure they had only known each other for a short period of time but it was long enough to make him realize that she was different than others and that he did want to pursue something deeper with her. "You're the first girl in awhile that didn't make me contemplate ways to get out of dinner.
" Carter stated with a smile as he let his gaze linger on her face for a bit longer. Sometimes he hated how straight forward and honest he could be, one day it was going to be the death of him and he was sure of it. He needed to learn how to keep some things to himself but of course that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. " I don't think I've ever seen you laugh so hard. I was waiting for you to spew your drink out your nose." Cue a laugh escaping from his lips and a smile turning up at the corners of his mouth. At least Rae knew him well enough to know that Carter was being honest with her when he said that he liked her. He was a straight forward individual and he just wasn't going to lie to try to get her in his bed. He genuinely liked her and for once it wasn't just about the sex or something else like that. It was about him liking her for her personality, the way she made him feel and other things like that. Nothing physical about it at all because well, the most they had done was hold hands like they were right now. As Rae let go of his hand and did a little spin Carter chuckled as he stopped walking to watch her and then returned his hand to her own when she came back over to where he was. " Very classy, Shorty." Shorty was his nickname for her, the one thing that only he was allowed to call her. He knew that she hated it at times but that's what made it all the more fun to sit there and call her it even if he knew that eventually it would end up with him getting slapped or something else along those lines. Until that happened he was very content with keeping up with the nickname and hell, even if she were to eventually get sick of it he just wasn't going to go and drop it, hell no, not at all. As the two stood in his kitchen Carter slipped off the blazer jacket he had on and placed it on one of the barstools in the kitchen before making the coffee then wandering off to the refrigerator. He was sure that there was some cheesecake left in there that he had made the day previously and after a few short moments of searching he found that it was true. As he pulled it out and heard her speak he chuckled as he placed the cheesecake on the counter, closed the fridge and turned his body to look at her. " Glad to hear it. Not to boast or anything but this is going to be the best damn cheesecake you've ever tasted in your life, guaranteed. As she moved away from him Carter got out a knife to cut it with and then scooped up a piece onto a plate for her before grabbing a fork out of the drawer and walking over to where she was now sitting atop his counter. " Here, try some before the coffee is done." As Carter spoke he cut off a piece from it and scooped it onto a fork before holding it out for her to taste. Assuming she did he then placed the plate and the fork down on the counter beside her and stepped forward so that he was somewhat between her legs and his hands were resting on the counter on either side of her. " That's about the only decent thing I can make." He said with a smile as he waited to see what she was going to say about it, if she liked it or not.[/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: I LOVE THEM ALREADY <3

* you really blow my mind ,CARTER HOFFMAN . 662 WORDS . CLOTHES . COMPLETE FML! I HAVE TO GO SOON AND I DON'T WANT TO D:
RAE glared, not appreciating the comment. It was true, she had laughed a lot. However, hearing that he was waiting for her to embarrass herself wasn't something she had wanted to hear from him. "Hey, shut up!" she pouted, nudging him with her hip. Well, at least he was smiling. Carter looked particularly handsome when he smiled. It made her wonder why he didn't smile more often around other people. He usually had a smile on his face when he was around her. It was something she enjoyed seeing, especially when she knew that she was the one who had caused the smile. Rae liked making people happy, especially Carter. Later on, she would take that responsibility very seriously, especially after finding out about his past relationship. Her attitude would change and she would become convinced that all he needed was someone to remind him of what fun having someone to share his time could be like. Right now however, she just enjoyed making him laugh, which she did after she spun around to show off. "Classy? Not the word I would've used, but thanks." She smiled her usual large, bright smile, ignoring the nickname he had given her. She really didn't like it, but he was fond of it, sos he let it go.
WHILE Carter slipped off his extra layers, Rae kept hers one, including the jacket he had draped over her shoulders. She was quite comfortable the way she was, especially after getting her heels off. She liked walking around with nothing but stockings covering her feet. Now she could engage in the childish activity of sliding across the kitchen floor. She was a seventeen year old girl. She did not have to grow up just yet. What she did have to do was not act too immature whilst around Carter. He thought she was two years older. People did a lot of growing in two years. That was one fact she was sure of, as she had changed a lot in the past two years. "Oh yes, of course you don't meant to boast," she said to him rolling her eyes. She watched him move around the kitchen, gathering what he needed while she kept herself on the countertop swinging her legs back and forth. She was easily amused. Sue her. She giggled at Carter as he came to feed her and she took the offered the cheesecake, letting it spread over her tastebuds for a moment. "Mmm." It was delicious. She swallowed, watched him as he moved closer to her.
BEAMING, she lifted a hand to run it through the blonde locks of his. "I wouldn't say it was decent. It was amazing. Best I've ever had." She may have been exaggerating, but Rae knew her way to a man's heart. Stroking his ego was a way to make a good impression. Her hand moved from his hair to his shoulder and was soon joined by her other hand. She was a little bit taller than him, so was able to look down on him slightly. Her eyes quickly scanned his face, before resting on his eyes, wondering if he wanted the same thing she wanted. She searched his eyes, unable to come up with an answer. Rae wasn't a particularly shy girl, so she knew that taking a chance was sometimes the best thing that could be done. With that in mind, she leaned down and kiss Carter lightly. Her hands didn't leave his shoulders, she made no effort to bring him closer to her and she didn't put much effort into the kiss. It was light and simple, a way to let him know that she liked him and wanted to do this again, without possibly hinting a desire, one she didn't have, to go further than just the kiss. Kissing and cuddling was something that Rae could take. Anything beyond that was pushing her, which was unfortunate as she'd probably be an animal in the sack.

you make me feel out of my element like I'M WALKING ON BROKEN GLASS, MY WORLD'S SPINNING- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAG: RAEGAN . LOCATION: WOOSTER SQUARE OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: SEVEN EIGHTY FOUR - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When she began to pout and bumped him with her hip it only made him laugh a bit harder than he already was and he reached out and poked her in the side playfully, the smile never leaving his face as he looked at her. "What? I think it would have been hilarious but I would have eventually felt bad about it and tried to find a way to make it up to you.
" He responded giving her a smile as he moved his hands back to his pockets. Carter couldn't remember ever spending so much time one on one with a girl who wasn't related to him since what happened with Abby. He was usually the one who just went in for a quick fuck and that was it, never wanting to get too attached or put himself in a similar situation. It would seem that his thoughts had changed since then though and now he actually began to look forward to the time that he would spend with her. " Hm, is sexy better?" He asked with a small grin. " Because truth be told you did look pretty damn sexy doing that and well, even just standing here." At least he was completely honest? Carter thought she looked sexy to begin with but then you throw in what she was wearing tonight and then his coat and well saying he was rather fond of it would be barely grazing the surface. Truth be told if she were to slide across his kitchen floor he probably would have joined her. Carter had his moments of being completely immature and sometimes when he was alone he would do stuff like that. Not that he would ever admit it but it would have been a bit of a relief to know that he wasn't the only adult who still enjoyed the 'finer' things in life and didn't mind being a little immature every now and then. After getting the coffee in maker and waiting for it to brew and then the slice of cheesecake for her Carter chuckled at her words. " Not in the least bit." He joked as he sent a wink in her direction then watched with curiosity as she took the fork in her mouth. The cheesecake was actually something that his brother's wife had taught him to make and since then he always made sure to have it at least once a week. It was his favorite desert and even when he was meant to keep himself in shape he never thought that a slice of cheesecake every now and then could do much damage, plus he did work out every night after all or at least tried to. Since his accident he had been spending less time in the gym and more time in therapy though and since it had only been nine or ten months he was still having issues getting full use out of his left leg. If the look on her face hadn't been enough to show him that she had liked it then the words that left her soft pink lips sure were. " I'm glad you liked it." Was his simple reply.
