ciara of caution [/sub] BECAUSE EVERYTHING I EVER TOLD YOUDallas knew that coming back here was a big risk. She'd fallen in love with him once, what stopped her from doing it all over again? Because love didn't just leave you behind, right? It stayed with you and haunted you with happiness or hurt. In Dallas' case, she had been hurt beyond measure. It was why her mother had been so worried about her and asked her to come to California for a bit. To mend that broken heart of hers. She loved her mother to death. Her mother knew everything without even asking or having an answer. Dallas flew down a few years ago and her mother was the perfect cure from her heartbreak with Alexander Joseph Franklin. But now she was back for revenge because she hated being the little girl that cried over him on random nights. She could never even figure out why he mattered to much to her. She'd never actually said, "I love you." And he probably had no idea how much she had been hurt. Dallas hoped he never would. She found it amazing that she was able to just yell a few words at him after their broke it off. She was ready to wring his neck and punch his pretty face in. Such a pretty face, with pretty much the perfect body. She shuddered at just the thought of it. But she needed to focus, snap back to reality. Reality was that they were over. Fully over with no chance ever again to have what they had. He had a kid and Mal who still rubbed it in her face every second she got. What did he need a girl like Dallas around for? She wasn't going to lie, she moved back here with a small illusion that maybe it would work out and she wouldn't have to spring her evil plan. Now she wanted nothing more than to break his heart. To break him down, the little sweetheart that he was now. She felt her blood boil and her stomach churn. If she hadn't loved him at one point it could have been translated into hate now. But she couldn't hate him now because he wasn't the same guy he was then. She could already tell that much over an online conversation. She wasn't sure she wanted to see him again. Without seeing him, she could keep a hold on her anger and dislike. But if he showed up around her she knew that everything from their past was going to crawl out of hell and drag her down. She'd already been living in Hell with those memories for nearly two years before she set down her foot and made a plan for herself. She super glued her heart and shoved it back in and forced it to beat from everything she had in her, all that hurt and regret inside her blood. Then she flew back and now set her plan rolling. It wasn't going to be easy. She felt nervous and giddy just sitting at her favorite bar thinking about it. She loved being in Lotus, but worked at the other bar. It was less sophisticated and easier to be around than Lotus. This was just her chill spot. And the spot where she'd met Alex. She sighed a bit, pulling out her fake I.D and ordering herself a hard shot of vodka then making her way to the dance floor. She needed time to think before actually meeting up with Alex. It'd been a few days since their online conversation. She wondered if he thought about her. Probably not. Either way, he'd think about her tonight. She shrugged off her jacket, tossing it to her favorite side table and slid into the booth, fishing around her purse for her phone. Upon finding it she hit her contacts button, scowling a little since his name was the first one on her list. Didn't she know anyone else with an A name? Didn't seem like it. She rolled her eyes and forced her fingers to fly over her keyboard and send him a quick text. hey(; if your not too busy being a daddy 2nite, u know where to find me. high time we caught up again <3 With another heavy sigh she put her phone on silent and shoved it back into her little purse. If he showed up, great she'd start her plan tonight. If he didn't... well she promised herself she wouldn't lose sleep over it or check her phone constantly. Besides, it wasn't a party if you were glued to your phone, "Come on, Alex. I dare you to show up." She muttered, making her way back to the dance floor and throwing herself to the beat.

WORD COUNT: SEVEN TWO THREE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Alex had been surprised to find out that Dallas was back in town especially after she upped and left without saying anything. It had been four years since he had heard from or seen her. Alex had chosen Malika over her. It wasn't like the two had been dating though, they had been pretty close to it but then he found out that Mal was pregnant with his child and even though he had been ready to start dating Dallas there was no way in hell that he was going to leave his best friend in her time of need especially when he was the cause of what she was going through. No, Alex had not been ready to be a father at all. He was dreading the entire experience and he knew that it was going to be hard but if there was one thing Alex wasn't that was a coward. He accepted the challenge and he wanted to make it work. So he had done what he thought was best and told Dallas that what happened between them meant nothing and that it wouldn't work out. Of course back then he had been a lot worse, meaner and had just straight out and said it without regard to how she would feel about the entire situation. If he knew how much she cared about him though he wouldn't have done that, he just thought that he was doing what was best for both of them.
Alex had been at home by himself when he received the text message from Dallas. Brooke was at his parents house for the night and Malika was out somewhere. Alex however was at home trying to finish packing up some things because he had drill duty over the weekend with his reservist group. It was something that he both loved and hated. The military was always something he wanted to do but right now he was rough because the possibility of being sent to Iraq hung high in the air and it was scary. After he received the text Alex decided that Dallas was right, it was time for them to catch up so after going to take a shower then getting dressed he grabbed his keys off of his dresser, scribbled a note to Mal that said he'd be home later, put it on the kitchen table and then went out to his car so that he could drive down to the club. There was no harm hanging out with Dallas now was there? The two seemed alright with each other, or, well, she seemed alright with him, no hard feelings that he caught off of her so that was a good thing. He honestly thought that she would bite his head off next time she saw him but thankfully that hadn't happened.
As Alex parked his car out in front of the club he remained in it for a few long moments, trying to figure out if he should actually go in or not. It had been awhile since he had actually went out and partied so it would be a change of pace for him and that was exactly what he needed. Plus, Alex loved dancing, he had almost gotten a scholarship to one of the best art universities in the country for it but he hadn't accepted. After a few short moments he decided to go in and climbed out of his car, slamming the door behind him before pulling out his fake ID, showing it to the bouncer and then moving inside the already pretty packed club. His eyes almost immediately searched for the girl in question and when he saw her already on the dance floor a small smirk crossed his face as he made his way toward her. If there was one thing that he always loved about Dallas it was the fact that she could dance almost as well as he could. Moving toward her he made sure that she could not see him and he then positioned himself behind her as he got into the beat of the music and then danced up behind her, grinding his body against her and moving his hand to slide around her waist and pulling her against him before moving his mouth down so that it was barely touching her earlobe. "Miss me?

ciara of caution [/sub] BECAUSE EVERYTHING I EVER TOLD YOUOf course she had missed him. The way he danced against her reminded her just how much she had missed him. It was easy to lie to yourself, Dallas decided to herself, as long as whatever you were trying to lie about wasn't around. With Alex around it was going to be a bit harder to keep telling herself she felt nothing more than dislike and hatred for Alex. She grinned a little and held her hands above her head and wrapped them around his neck, holding him closer against himself as they danced, "Of course," She answered back to his possible rhetorical question. She kept up with him, grinding against him, letting her hands fall to prop against her thighs as she bent over a just a little to grind on him some more. She remembered the time she first met him. It had been here at Lotus and they'd practically danced the night away. From then on, Dallas spent a lot of time dancing her heart out and hanging out with him. It'd been perfect in her eyes; meeting some one who wanted to just hang out and do whatever. You know, the whole thought of finding someone in a mind so young. And yes, Dallas had been young when she'd met him. It was easy to see now that she'd been setting herself up for hurt. She'd thrown her heart out there thinking this was it. Now she had to laugh at herself. How silly of her. And now, to prove she wasn't the same, silly, naive girl, she was going to break him down better than anyone ever would. Once that was done, she'd be able to move on from this stage in her life and find a real love.
The thing that bothered her most was that he had chose someone over her. Didn't bother wondering if Dallas wanted to help or just wait around. He just called it off and Dallas, the sweet Dallas back then, just figured she was another check mark on his hit list. When she'd found out he had a kid and was taking care of that kid and the mom she almost felt guilty for stepping back into their lives. She wondered about the baby and remembered the picture she had seen. It didn't matter, she told herself, it was Mallory's baby so to hell with it. Dallas had been a second choice but that wasn't going to happen again. She'd find someone who made her number one and loved her better than Alex did. Not that he had loved her in the first place. But still.
Dallas ran a hand through her hair, before spinning around to grab at his shirt -- finally forcing herself to look at that handsome face of his. She caught her breath and a moment later pushed her body up against his. She noted the dog tag chain that was hiding beneath his shirt and resisted the urge to reach out and read them. She was sucker for military men. But this was one that she'd deny herself. She was here for a game. She traced a finger along his jawline, "Did daddy get the night off?" She asked, tilting her head a bit, forgetting to dance and just stayed in his arms, looking up at him. He always dressed so nicely and looked so good, it was easy to forget her train of thought around him. That just wasn't healthy.
She couldn't help but picture him being a daddy with a little girl wrapped up in his arms. She wondered what that was like, to see him holding your child and knowing that he'd do everything he could to make it all right for your kid. It tugged at her heart just a little and she remembered then that the music was still going and they were among a crowd of dancing people. She let her body move again, wrapping her arms around his neck and tangling her legs with his just so she could keep herself close to him as they danced, "You look good." She noted, smirking a bit, "And I'm not even drunk yet." She joked, forcing a quiet laugh from herself.

LOCATION: LOTUS NIGHT CLUB OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: SEVEN SIXTY SEVEN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Alex had changed a lot over the past four years. He had went from someone who didn't really give a fuck about anyone else to someone who actually cared about his friends and especially his daughter. He had a tight group of friends around him and his family and those were the ones that he was always looking out for. He had learned long ago that sometimes it was alright to let people in and to have them help but surprisingly he was doing alright right now when it came to supporting himself and his daughter. Malika was living with him, which was a good thing and he was happy for but that didn't mean that she let him support her. This once immature boy was now a mature adult who knew his priorities and while a night at the club used to be a usual thing for him it wasn't any longer. He had grown up a lot and it was obvious to anyone who had known him from his past. Coming tonight had been something he didn't think twice about though. Dallas and himself had been close at one point in time and now that she was back he wanted to see her. So now that he was dancing up against her and heard her words he couldn't help but smile a bit, it felt good to know that she missed him. "Glad to hear it. We have a lot of catching up to do now, you know.
" Not that he wanted to do any of that right now seeing how he just wanted to dance and have a good time. Dancing here with her brought back many old memories. Ones that he hadn't thought much of until just now. It had been awhile since he had seen her, it had been even longer since they had danced like this. In all honesty Alex was completely surprised that she didn't hate him. He knew he had hurt her, even if she didn't want to admit it he could see it in the way that she looked at him. She was hurt by what happened, the look on her face the day he told her that he didn't want to be with her was enough to kill him. That memory would be forever burned into the back of his mind. The pain that her eyes held, the way that her shoulders had slumped. At the time he htought he was doing the right thing. It was only right, wasn't it? He shouldn't have to ask her to stay beside him when he was going to be fathering another woman's child, should she? Eh, that didn't matter anymore. They were long gone done and over, there was no changing that at all any longer. She had her life and he had his. Hell, he didn't even know why she was back or how long she would b eback for. Not that that mattered anyway. He would just focus on tonight and what was going on between the two of them at the moment. As she turned around in his arms and looked up at him he gave her a smile, one of his usual cocky 'I know you're checking me out' smiles, the ones that could easily make any girl melt right where they were standing. " I did. Just for you." He responded giving her another one of those smiles. He hadn't really noticed that the two of them had stopped dancing and he probably wouldn't have really cared but when she started to dance again so did he, letting his hands slide down to her waist and he remained close to her, letting his body move against hers to the beat of the music. Alex pulled her closer as her arms wrapped around his neck. " So do you. Really good." He replied. Brooke had changed Alex's life drastically but part of his old self was still in there. The part that enjoyed partying, the part that actually liked to have a good time, the part that wasn't all that mature. Tonight he might actually push some of that matureness to the side, just be a kid again. He was still a teenager, he had every right to just relax and be himself, didn't he? Alex didn't always have to be the mature and responsible one, maybe Dallas would be the one to show him that again. She always did have a way of getting him to do stuff he hadn't done before or stuff that he didn't really want to do. Not that it was always bad, either.[/blockquote]

ciara of caution [/sub] BECAUSE EVERYTHING I EVER TOLD YOUDallas wasn't sure there was much to catch up on from her side. Mainly because after she left she was hellbent on getting her revenge. And she very well couldn't just tell him that. But the thought of just him wanting to hang out with her was enough to make her smile. Maybe this entire thing wouldn't be too hard. Except for Malika. Dallas had a huge problem with her, not that she'd admit it to Alex since well... a number of reasons now. He was a smart guy and probably knew it already, but Dallas wasn't going to admit that she didn't like his best friend and now his daughter's mother. How rude would that be? He didn't want her in his life then and just because she was back didn't mean he'd want her in his life now. She wasn't going to stay in his life though. After this was over, she'd move back to California and start another life there. Find her love there, possibly and forget all about Alex Franklin. Because as far as she was concerned, she didn't want to love someone who broke her heart without a second though and didn't seem to notice or care. What good would that be? That would just be setting herself up for hurt. It took her weeks to just convince herself to get her payback finally. And she needed to coax herself again once she found out that Alex had a kid. She felt like some kind of monster, just stepping back into his life so she could ruin it. And she hoped that she was setting up a bad part for Brooke. If Daddy was heartbroken, how would it affect her? She was already a little girl after all and kids were smart about certain things. Dallas knew that one first hand since her mother had a daycare and the kids cared about her so much even though she wasn't the nicest person to everyone.
She gave a small laugh at his compliment, "Yeah, well I knew you'd come along so I got myself ready." She was half joking since he was pretty much the only person she really had to work hard to impress. She pressed up against him, letting herself relax against him. The smile he gave her made her heart jump but she ignored the feeling, knowing that she'd have to get use to it around him. That smile was going to happen a lot if things went well. And so far it seemed like it was going just fine. She used her finger to trace the shape of his lips, "I know that smile." She grinned a little, giving him a light pat on the chest. It was that smile that lit up her entire world a few years ago. Now it just made her heart ache a bit. Dallas had every plan to make Alex have a good time. Because she needed him to remember how everything had been before he broke her heart. They hadn't even been steady and he managed to toss her world upside down. Barely even fifteen and saying she was in love with him. he didn't know that much, at least. Thank goodness. She'd been mortified if she had told him that only have him knocked up someone else. It was difficult to grasp the entire situation, but she knew that what had happened was because he thought it was best. It wasn't, but that didn't matter now. She wasn't looking forward to running into Malika, but meeting Brooke would probably make the entire game harder but it was a needed step to win Alex over. The fastest way to a parents heart was their child.
"So, do I get you for the entire night?" She asked, looking up at him. She was hoping so. Maybe she'd toss some sheets with him if the mood fit. Right now she was just happy that he even came. She danced slowly against him, not caring who watched or wondered. As far as she was concerned, Alex was already tagged as hers tonight and no one dare try and say other wise. Dallas had a nasty side when it come to things she wanted -- something that wasn't pretty when it was just her and malika alone in a room. Everything turned cold and their stares became stone. Bad.

LOCATION: LOTUS NIGHT CLUB OUTFIT: HERE . WORD COUNT: SEVEN NINETY EIGHT - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If this young man knew about her plans or even had the slightest sense of discomfort coming from her he would up and leave. He wasn't the guy who people fucked with and he wasn't the guy who put himself into relationships even if it was with someone who he truly cared about. In the past it was just because he had too much fun being single but now it was because he had a daughter and knew that anything that would affect him would affect her as well and that was the last thing that he needed or wanted. Brooke was his world now and he had put his love life - or lack of one - on hold for her. He wasn't going to get into a relationship unless he felt one hundred percent sure that the outcome was going to be good, he refused to let a female get close enough to his daughter and then have her walk out. Alex had experienced that, he knew what it was like to have people walk out on you, especially people you saw as a mother figure so he wouldn't let that happen with Brooke and any female. That was why he never brought his dates home and he rarely introduced them to Brooke. Sure he would introduce Dallas to her but as a friend, nothing more because that's all she was. A friend. A friend from the past, a friend that he had hurt but a friend that had forgiven him. Surely Dallas wouldn't hurt Brooke, he was sure of that so he didn't have to worry about it. Falling in love with her was something he wasn't planning on doing either, that part of the past was well gone and buried and it would stay just like that.
When Dallas spoke Alex's face couldn't contain a brighter smile. For some reason it felt good to know that she still thought his opinion was valuable and that she still tried to look good for him. "Well aren't I lucky?
" He asked in his usual thick New York accent. Despite living in New Haven for a few years now he still contained that accent but it set him apart from the locals so that was always a good thing in his mind. Alex felt her finger upon his lips and he kissed it lightly as she spoke. " Did you miss it?" He asked curiously, jokingly of course. This was the only bad part about Dallas being back, the fact that for some reason she still affected him like she used to, the fact that part of him still wanted to be with her. But no, that was the past and he had moved on, plus, he was still in love with Malika even though she had no idea. It would stay that way, too. He couldn't let her know, it would completely destroy everything and that wasn't something that Alex was ready to let happen. His happiness would stay on hold like it always had, for Brooke's sake and for the sake of his friendship. That was how it always was and that was how it was always going to be. He didn't mind though, Brooke deserved the best and he was happy with the way things had turned out despite the fact he wished he could go back in time and change things. That wouldn't happen though so he just sat back and let things come as they wanted to. One day and one step at a time, right? " It's a possibility." Came Alex's next set of words as he stopped dancing and pulled himself away from her slightly just so he could take her hand in his and he led her over to the couches in the corner and sat down. Once he was comfortable he patted his lap, telling her without words to come over. " It all depends on if you can keep me interested enough to not run off with someone else." Naturally Alex was joking, he had never left Dallas alone apart from when he had 'broken things off with her'. Plus, she had invited him here and he had accepted that meant that he was going nowhere else in his mind. " It's good to have you back, Dal." Alex was glad to have her back, she had always been one of his best friends and when she had been gone he missed her, of course he had Malika but it was different. She was his best friend and Dallas had been the girl that he actually wanted a future with, now things had changed though and now Dallas was just someone whom he wanted a friendship back with. It's funny how much time could change people for the better or for the worse.[/blockquote]

ciara of caution [/sub] BECAUSE EVERYTHING I EVER TOLD YOUHopefully the young man would never find out her plans. And maybe Dallas would be able to happily slip away while Alex tended to his broken heart. He had Malika and Brooke anyway. More than she had if she stayed instead of going to California. He'd pretty much been her entire life. But now that Dallas was back in his life, he was probably not very lucky. But everything in her was fueling her to pull through with her plans and just break his heart. Rip it right out and leave. She just hoped it wouldn't take long. She didn't like being here again, being in his life and having him in hers. It brought back every ache and made her heart want to burst again. He danced against her, making her brain fuzzy with memories and the bit of alcohol she'd taken was making her blood warm. Of course, if Dallas knew that Alex was in love with Malika, or had been or ever was, she'd punch him instead of trying to break his heart. She was already suspicious and wary about the relationship that Alex and Malika had going on, from what she saw of it and remembered about it. It was easy for Dallas to get jealous about it though -- she was a girl and it was drilled into a woman's mind. Jealously that is, since it happens between nearly every girl, even if they were best friends. Dallas wished it wasn't that way with herself, but she was jealous, she'd admit it. She didn't like that Malika was the thing that took away Alex from her life. And she didn't like that Malika was still in his life and made him a baby. It made her sick.
She peered up at him with a small smirk and trailed her finger along his lips again, allowing herself to give him a small nod. She did miss it but wasn't going to willingly admit that out loud. The main thing Dallas needed was that Alex think she was back to be a friend and more. The more part would take time though, since right now all he needed was a friend. A break from the life that was his now. Who wanted to be daddy mode twenty four seven while the mom danced around at some party getting shitfaced then coming home to throw it all up? She imagined no one would want that but figured that maybe Alex's life was something like that now.
She followed him to the couch and took his offer of his lap without a second thought. She kept close to him, wondering if he even noticed how some of the other girls looked at him. She shrugged lightly and stretched her arms a little before wrapping them around his waist and resting her head on his shoulder, "I think I can manage that." She muttered to him, placing a soft kiss on his neck, "Its good to be back." She answered with a light laugh. Too bad he wouldn't be saying that for long. He would wish her gone when her plan was finished. Everything was about that plan, mainly because she had nothing else giving her energy to be here. She wouldn't tell anyone, not even her mother, but she felt the brink of depression coming when she was in California. And she wasn't sure what would have happened if she hadn't told herself to get her revenge. Three, maybe four, years and she was back to get her revenge because she needed it to sleep at night.
Nights were hard and long. Before, she woke up often feeling like she'd cry some more. Now she woke up only a few times, disoriented as to where she was. Sometimes she swore she felt his body laying next to hers and could hear his breathing. Those were the worst nights for her. After that, she wouldn't sleep again for the day. Now here he was, in the flesh. And she could hear his heart and feel his breathing. She rested a hand where his heart was. Oddly comforting. She gave him another light kiss on his cheek. There was no way they'd be staying friends, even if he wanted it that way. Just to have her back in his life as a friend. She wanted more, always had and that still didn't change when she was around him

One of them being the fact that he couldn't ruin a good friendship, another one being that he wasn't ready for a relationship. Alex didn't even think about relationships half the time. He was happy with his life and he was perfectly content just focusing on his daughter and his work and well, of course his best friend. Everything was going great for him and that was all he really needed, right? Who needed a girl that could just come along and break your heart into little pieces whenever she pleased? In Alex's mind that wasn't something he wanted to put up with so he refused to. Plus, he had to watch out for Brooke. He knew that anything that affected him would affect her, that any woman he brought into his life he would be bringing into hers and any woman that decided to leave would not only be leaving him but Brooke as well. That was why Alex wouldn't date, he didn't want the heartbreak for himself or for Brooke and was that so bad? At least he was being completely honest with himself about why he wouldn't do a relationship. Plus, he wasn't sure how Brooke or Malika would react. How would Malika feel with another woman in her daughter's life or would Brooke feel that she had to call any new woman mommy? He wasn't sure but right now he didn't want to think about any of that, not in the least bit.
Her finger running over his lip and the nod that she gave him was enough confirmation that she had missed his smile and him. He didn't need anything more than that. Everything that the two of them had had was great, it really was and Alex loved her back then even if he wouldn't admit it. He hadn't wanted to make her life unfair so he had left, was that so wrong? Upon moving over to the couch and sitting down Alex waited for Dallas to join him and once she did take a seat upon his lap he wrapped one of his arms around her waist while he let his other hand rest on her thigh. His fingers traced invisible patterns there and he smiled as he soaked in her features with his eyes. "How do you plan to do that?
" He asked curiously as she placed a kiss to his neck. Alex let his head tilt to the side a little bit so that she would have better access and he rested his head back against the couch for a few long moments, just watching her in silence. With her hand now on his chest, right above his heart, the young man smiled a bit as he lifted his hand up off her thigh to place it on top of her hand. " Welcome home." He spoke quietly, never letting his gaze waiver off of her face. She was the same way he remembered her and it made him realize that maybe that much hadn't changed between them, maybe, just maybe things would be alright with them. He really hoped so. Alex shifted his position a tad bit so that he was more comfortable and he then wrapped both of his arms around her waist, his focus only on the girl he was with. He didn't even notice the other girls around the club looking at him, he was way too focused on Dallas to do that. She still captivated him like she used to, that was bad. Alex had to remember that they were just friends and that wasn't going to change. He wasn't going to jump into a relationship with her, not now, not ever. He wasn't the guy that did relationships, he couldn't. He found her drawing him in though, maybe it was just because it had been so long since he last saw him, he wasn't sure but he hoped that's all it was. Leaning forward he pressed his lips to her own in a kiss. He wasn't expecting anything more than a kiss in return, he wasn't trying to get her into his bed or anything like that. Not that he would really mind if it happened but he wasn't going to force it upon her. He pulled away from her a few moments and looked down at her while his hand raised itself to the side of her face and he gently caressed it with the pad of his thumb. " Don't leave again." [/blockquote]

ciara of caution [/sub] BECAUSE EVERYTHING I EVER TOLD YOUDallas figured that a relationship wasn't something that Alex needed or wanted right now. Even if they didn't end up in a relationship, Dallas wanted to mean something more than a friend to him. She smiled a little when he mentioned being back home. True, it was home for her. Her going to California was simply to runaway from her problems. But this was always going to be home. When she told her mother she was moving back, by herself, her mother nearly freaked out telling her how home was where family was and that Dallas shouldn't be wandering away from home. Dallas knew that wasn't true. Home was where the heart was. And... well.. where Alex was is where her heart is. She realized that now, being near him again and feeling his heart beating beneath her hand. She had made him her everything. And now she was working on making something out of nothing. She let her hand slide down and rested it on her lap, turning her head away to look out at her favorite club. She nodded lightly, "Yeah, home." She muttered more to herself than him. She looked back over at him tilting her head toward his touch, resting her own hand on his and holding it there to her face. She wanted to answer him and tell him she wasn't going to go anywhere. But she already knew that she was going to leave. It wouldn't be the first time she broke promises. Back home she made promises to boys her age and girls who thought they could be her best friend. But everything was so different with Alex. She looked over at him and leaned over to plant a light kiss on his lips.
"I don't want to." She murmured against his lips, letting her lips brush against his as she spoke. Okay, that was as honest as it was going to get. She realized now that running away from him for a few years made this entire thing difficult. Because seeing him now just brought everything back and she was still so much attracted to him it was making her body crazy, "Did it bother you that I left?" It was question that haunted her almost everyday. Wondering if he cared at least that much. But it was hard to believe now that he would be bothered with it. He had a kid and a lady in his life -- not exactly his lady, but still. And a kid took up a lot of time and money and attention. Maybe he was too busy to think about her that much. Unlike herself in California. It was just working a few hours at the daycare to help her mother out and working at a store a few blocks away whenever she wasn't busy at the daycare. And the kids asked a lot of questions like why she was California and if she had a boyfriend and anything like that. Being sixteen at the time she felt like the room closed in at any mention of love and the boy she loved. She traced patterns on his arm. A mans arms were one of the silly things that turned her on. When they were perfect shape. And since Alex was a military man his arms were so nicely shaped. She leaned against him again, resting her head on his shoulder and just tracing her finger where ever it pleased.
[/blockquote][/blockquote] doesn't matter anymore. MICHELLE TYPED UP --- WORDS WITHOUT THE CODING. YAY FOR HER?! SHE MADE THIS POST SPECIFICALLY FOR KELLEY/ALEX SO IF THAT'S NOT YOU, DO NOT DISTURB PLEASE! AND MICHELLE DRESSED UP DALLAS IN THIS SEXY THING. AND JUST SO YOU KNOW: I LIKE THEM.
