so, this is an adorable plot line i have in my head and thought it could be quite interesting to have on here.

so this story involves a character played by ken'ichi matsuyama, you have pretty much free reign with him but he is engaged to aiko, a japanese exchange student, very quiet and both obsessed with anime, video games and horror movies. it started on a magical day at the train station two years ago. sitting at a bench, young aiko was just minding her own business, reading some random anime and just wondering whether she could do something interesting, then along came ken'ichi and sat next to her. there was silence between them, but there didn't need to be a word spoken because they seemed to know that they were supposed to friends. finally, she spoke and nervously he replied, the two of them beginning to have a huge conversation about nothingness. they spent the next four months debating in their own minds whether to ask the other one out, then eventually ken'ichi's best friend asked aiko out for him. so they started dating and everything was perfect, until she met his parents. aiko is from quite a poor family and isn't really that good with anything and his family are quite rich and look down on her. the relationship was now damned and they weren't allowed to date. yeah right! they started to see each other in secret and didn't care about the world. it was around eighteen months later that ken'ichi graduated from high school and earned a scholarship to go to yale. this meant that he would be in america and she would be in japan. the day he left, he proposed to her so they would never be apart. and now, she has just got herself enough money and flew to america, new to the country and here to surprise her dearest.
